To all players, you could still sign in till 2010-11-30 Here are the basic Rules of the Global Conflict Tournament: 1) Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict patch v1.04 is recommended, please update! 2) “World at war” is the Default Campaign to play. Only 1 single PBEM game is required. Other campaigns, TCP/IP and mirror games are possible. 3) Every game has to be finished in 90 days. Group phase from 2010-12-01 till 2011-02-28 4) “Minor victory conditions” If any game isn’t finished in 90 days the games minor victory conditions decides the match Axis minor victory conditions are (after 90 days in tournament) Berlin, Rome, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila Allies minor victory conditions (after 90 days in tournament) Paris, London, Moscow, Washington, Chungking, Delhi, Manila, Canberra Other conditions are tied games! REMARK: Because of “Fair play” in this case it is needed to play at least 120 turns in these 90 days. If not arbitrator will choose player for next round. Maybe turn files has to be checked. After playing the group phase this rule has to be reconsidered. 5) “Changing side rule” Every player has to play Axis AND Allies. After playing one side next match should be played with other side. Other agreement with opponent is possible. Example: Player 1 played Axis and wanna play Axis in next group match too. He could try to arrange his request to his opponent. This is possible by arrangement!! If his opponent (Player 2) played Allies in first match and he wanna play Axis now Player 1 must change his side. Example: Player 1 and Player 2 both played Axis in first match and wanna stay playing Axis in next match against each other. Now alphabetical order is taken and gives the Player “Alpha” the final decision against Player “Betha” for this match. But if “Alpha” played Axis 2 times he fall behind against any player who played 1 each or 2 times Allies in any upcoming match. 6) “Group phase” Every group has 3 players. 2 games are needed to play each other. Group phase lasts from 2010-12-01 till 2011-02-28.   5. We take it as I said. Rambo plays in Group A and if all players fine I am fine too. We are all ready to play soon and happy about 14 Players maybe more. Come on guys let's have some fun in playing a good Tournament!
  6. Hey Rambo, looks like tournament rules are not that important for you because I wanna make the groups and the basics. You starting and make own rules. Tournament should fun for everyone, don't forget that. That is the Rambo I know. OK, I take it as it is. I don't know players skill of Abukede but will take him to Group A with you. Maybe some other players wanna start up. So I will finish rule finding and make the Tournament Draw this weekend.

  9. As we like! At the moment I am not in the tournament and could organize it better. I am a only a average player anyway. What is a bracket System? I like elimination too. About "90 days", what if opponent are not ready in time. I made tournament before, you must come to an end after a fair time! So I would like to make a rule that players hurry up a bid.

  12. Oh Jon J. yes we spoken some times. The story is this. Some players ask me to organize the Tournament cause I did it before lets say not so bad. All players who want it at the moment are English-speaking guys. So I would happy to make it here. One small issue is that I could not upload the Tournament draw on battlefront.com. I could easily make it on Panzerliga. I see no problem to make it common on both sides. Again I am the only man from Europe but try to do my best. Yes 30 day games is what we want! To all players of Strategic Command 2 Global Conflict, After two Tournaments in playing “Weapons and Warfare” at Panzerliga we wanna start a new common “Global Conflict” Tournament beginning in December 2010. Here are the (Default) playing conditions when nothing is arranged by the players: 1) Campaign World at war, alternative Nupremal’s World or World in Flames 2) Playing time up to max. 150 turns, Player wins when victory conditions reached in time. 3) Every round has to be finished in 90 days. If not 90 days either 150 turns, side wins that have 50% more income as opponent at this time. Otherwise it is a draw. (Example: Allie 1200 mpp vs. Axis 800) 4) Group phase, afterwards KO system 5) One single ‘Play by Email’ game, Side is drawn by arbitrator if not arranged by players, mirror possible Default rules could be discussed here till starting time 2010-12-01 Any player who wanna take part write here or at http://www.panzerliga.de/dt/docs/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2913
  15. Please consider that Germany in my game has almost the same output as US and already build up everything they could. For a playable game this is kind of strange. And in my view unhistorical too.

Game situation June 1944 World at War, Human vs. Human My Axis is back but has an income of 880 mpp Germany/440 Japan every round My Allies are back but have income of 940 mpp USA/140 GB (China and USSR have surrendered) Don't know if this is average but I can't build any unit that makes really sense All carriers are already build or in the production queue, all corps/armies/tanks and air forces too. Much bad weather and less damage every round. One or two units lost in case of combat. But the cost of an army or corps at 60% are not very high. I wonder if nobody knows this situation in playing. Never read this here. Any comments are welcome.
  17. Is it possible to make a new convoy from a occupied port? In my Mod I wanna order England if they loose their isle to establish a convoy route to Germany. The map is quite similar to "Fall Weiss". The convoy.txt wants a #COUNTRY_ID= 1 #TRANSFER_ID= 5 #COUNTRY_ID_TRIGGER= 0 #TRANSFER_ID_TRIGGER= 0 But in that case is it possible at all. Please help
  18. What about Germany going to China. My German ships are not able to visit the chinese harbors or going into former chinese territory.
  19. Maybe you can't enter the tile. If so you can't attack too. No bug I guess. Try the tank he has one more AP
  20. Yes you are right, I forgot. The direct attack is the same value=2 in CAP and tactical mode, only mixed mode comes with halved attack value=1. The only different seems to be the possible intercepting of the nearby fighters. For me that has to be =0 like attack value against ground units when in CAP Mode! Otherwise there is less need to go in CAP Mode. At the moment the tactical mode has all values that would be shown when watching the properties. The CAP mode is only needed for intercepting, but that is very rare to take place. You only need one fighter left in the backround.
  21. One question is left for me. If Carriers are in tactical mode and they attack a fighter what value is been taken for attacking. value = 0 or value = 2 like Tactical Bomber does?
  22. Yes, but it is cheaper to repair Corps than ships. And corps are around the world available. At least for the Allies.
  23. I return back to the main meaning of the thread. The best - correction the easiest - way of sub hunting is to search with cheap transport corps to contact the subs. Afterwards circle and attack with ships. And, xwormwood is right, no fun to hunt in that way.
