intelligence
AZGungHo replied to emf's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
Given the length of turns in SCWaW I don't think anyone would just assume a unit was still in the same place it had been in last turn. Unless of course you had information that it hadn't moved. So, unless you get new intelligence on the same unit (unlikely) I think it ought to disappear. The current routine seems right to me. -

I'm in as well, tho I'll have to do it e-mail only as I'm very busy right now. Since Canuck_TAR wants Lars, I'll take on anyone you want me too. Hint: If you're looking for an easy victory - I'm probably just the one to give it to you since I've never play another person and ain't that great against the AI either!! -

Russian winter
AZGungHo replied to arado234's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
I understand why people would like the option to be prepared for this - but it does create a huge problem beyond game balancing. The real problem to me is this - Where Do You Stop? If we're going to give the option to be prepared for the Russian Winter, how about giving the French the option to be better prepared to fight? Maybe not having built the Maginot Line and having more troops, planes, tanks, etc.? The list would go on forever, and in the end you'd end up with something that has absolutely nothing to do with WW2 in Europe. You have to draw a line somewhere and accept certain facts as the foundation for what you build on. I think what we've got at this point is as good a foundation as you can get, and that it ought to be left as is.
