  1. Well Bill did lose the Final Blitzkrieg beta DAR so he's not unbeatable.
  2. Hello mother or Hi Mom is an old meme on these threads meaning the thread will soon be locked.
  3. Doesn't matter what Mike thinks in case as he wouldn't be making the call. It is of course possible he knows things he's not allowed to say. Let's find out. Mike, yes or no, do you know things you're not allowed to say?
  4. As you likely know, the KV1 and 2 wouldn't fit the time frame. I've seen nothing to indicate whether or not the KV85 will be in the game.
  5. I'm looking at the recoil of the B-4's and comparing it to the one time I watched my US M-110 8" battery perform direct fire exercises. Besides a bit of shaking, the M-110 carriages didn't move. They never moved of course during indirect fire with they had their spades dug in, as one wanted the second round to arrive as precisely to a target miles away as the first.
  6. Maybe not where you live, but here the trees are starting to leaf again.
  7. Is the MoD project still on track to finish this month? I'm mostly asking as i hope you don't have to take a financial hit if it isn't. But maybe this is all classified.
  8. Does this mean the Soviet Submachinegun Companies from Panzerblitz weren't that far off? Of course Panzerblitz gave the Germans submachinegun platoons as well.
  9. Where are the other screenshots? I hope I don't have to, like, join Facebook or somthink.
  10. K, if the Schwimmwagen doesn't make it into CMFB module, I'll be very surprised. Who knows, maybe we'll see Seeps there too.
  11. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=that's+a+joke+son&&view=detail&mid=6C4138DB3C0A1E28B72B6C4138DB3C0A1E28B72B&rvsmid=D64F534CC520D4A9365BD64F534CC520D4A9365B&FORM=VDQVAP
  12. Heck you used to sell Drop Team. That's more than enough. Not a bad game I heard.
  13. That we're going to get Schwimmwagens made up for any delay for me. I can't believe Kolenklau hasn't commented yet. I bet he'll wet himself (pun intended) . Will Seeps be next?
  14. Does rat-holing mean something good in this case?
  15. True, but that may be much more difficult to render visually with the engine. I think movement of both vehicles and men become as difficult as snow that deep would actually cause vis-a-vis bogging and tiredness even though it may not look like it.
  16. Will most vehicles have winter camo, providing the scenario is tagged as snow?
  17. I've been to the town of Hölle (Hell) Germany when it was frozen over. I think I have a picture somewhere of the wooden devil they have with snow on his head.
  18. That said, how common was use of grating like that on late war Soviet AFVs ?
  19. We really have no idea what The British Army intends to use CM for and what changes they required, nor would BFC ever tell us. I would bet the British Army already has sims that accomplish those 2 features. I recall the US Army was using CMSF One as a training tool for logistics officers just to show them how much freaking ordinance was expended in a battle. If side projects increase BFC's financial health I'm all for it, even though it causes delays for our stuff. I just hope there's no financial penalty to them if the side project runs late because BFC used Steve time in providing an estimate as to when the side project would be done.
  20. I'd love to see satellite dishes on the better built buildings in CMSF2.
  21. Bulletpoint- I have no argument with your prior points. Pointing out bugs and making suggestions are not attacks. There may be disagreement on what constitutes a bug however. I think the Battlefront team also agrees the engine is aging. There will also be wide disagreement on what is essential for immersion and authenticity and what is nit picking. My list will be different than yours I think you'd agree. At this point I also think there would be a wide range of opinions as to the desired future course of Combat Mission. Some would desire engine improvements or perhaps even a new engine. Some would want just more content so they can play a favorite period or army as soon as feasible. If we polled the forum here as to the choice, those answering would still only reflect a small percent of all BFC customers. Perhaps the BFC team has made the choice already, but I can understand if they're not ready to share the choice until things are much farther along in development.
  22. Just wondering if the standard we hold Combat Mission games to is higher than that of other games? That is, the standard needs to be close to a perfect rendition of reality. When one sees a blemish, and the blemish may be different things to different people, we exaggerate the importance of the blemish as far as actual game play goes. It's an psychological thing perhaps I'm thinking. The games are immersive and that immersion is appealing, so when that one finds that one blemish that breaks the immersion for them, they're passionate about the blemish. In a way this passion towards the blemish is a credit to the passion and immersion the CM games can bring. I think the combat flight simulators fall into this category as well but that's about it.
