Hello,
Can anyone tell me what digit the Rumanian voice wav file start with? I know the Germans are 3 and the Russians are 8 but I can't tell the difference between Finnish, Rumanian and Hungarian. I have done a thorough search and found there was once a detailed sound map but alas, it was lost in the first CMMODs crash.
Thanks

I did a search on this and couldn't find anything besides which nationality belonged to which numbers. I've found that between nationalities, wav files with the same last few numbers say more or less the same thing. Does there exist a list somewhere of, for example, what numbered wav file produces what phrase?
Thanks

I have finished my French to Greek Infantry Mod and will post it at CMMODS Monday August 28th (Can't do it right now-long story). Evzone you might want to download it again once posted as I have made a few improvements. Enjoy Greece. I hear it's lovely in the spring (except spring 1941).

Sorry if this has been covered before, but will ammo for the different weapons in a squad be tracked seperately?

I dunno, what do you have in mind?Originally posted by Michael Emrys:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by Kingfish:

Philippe.
I was hoping to get your permission to use the French tankers in your French Portrait Mod as Greeks in a new Mod I'm making. I found portraits
for Greek infantry but as I'm sure you understand Greek Tankers are much harder to come by (I wouldn't be surprised if the Greeks had no tanks in 1941, but they might have had some armored cars).
Thanks for your consideration.
P.S. I tried emailing you but it got bounced back

Evzone, I am going to make a portrait Mod to go along with the Uniform Mod I sent you and post them both to CMMODS when complete. Perhaps that may inspire someone to make some new scenarios with the Greeks.

Gets reference to death scene of Edward G. Robison in "Little Ceasar" and begins to cry. Then remembers Edward G. Robison had a long and distinguished film carreer afterward until he was eaten in "Soylent Green". Begins to hope for a similar comeback for Mikey D except for the being eaten part.

Hey it's everyone's favorite Combat Mission question and I'm too lazy to search.

Cows do not sleep standing up. They rarely truely sleep at all. I have had my arm up many a cows ass to the shoulder and if you know anything about cows you would know why.
Since we have a Challenger it's obviously West front and a Holstein would not be out of place. You might see Holsteins on the East front but I would guess these would be limited to the larger collectives near large cities where a large amount of fluid milk is desired. The small farms would likely have a colored breed whose higher butter fat content would be more desirable in the production of butter and cheese, items that could be preserved longer.
P.S. A dead Holstein, being larger should provide more cover than , say, a dead Jersey.

I predict the early war tanks will make an apperance in "Combat Mission:Blitzkrieg" WWII 1939-1940.

What was that little remote control explosive carrier called?

Henk, I ran my experiment. I sounds like they use the wav files starting with 10. In case you all are wondering, Stoffel is thinking of making a Dutch sound Mod to go with the South African to Dutch Uniform mod I put up recently.
-
I'm going to experiment to see which of the three Commonwealth voice series they use. Does any one know of a phrase that can be automatically generated? What I mean is, if you take a certain action in the game, the troops will automatically say it.

You know what I hate, people that use the word to when they mean too. I can't tell you how often I see "to many" or "to late". That and people who are prejudice against people from other cultures and the Dutch!

I read Matt's Blog. I think he said he is beating up really hot chicks.

One of the things I really liked about Panzerblitz/Panzerleader were the division organization charts that broke down the components of a division down to platoon level for the Western Allies and Germans and company level for the Soviets. Can any one recommend a good book with similar charts? Obviously no book will be catered to Panzerblitz/Panzerleader but that's not what I'm looking for. I did find a WWII order of battle site on the web but it requires one to learn WWII German unit symbols. I'd be happier and am familiar with the NATO symbols.

Okay, I see that now. I should have looked harder.

Hello David, thanks for your work. Does it modify "Normal" buildings to look damaged or only damaged buildings?

Well, if they never became engaged there's not much point in a scenario unless some one wants to do something hypothetical. It'd be more likely than Sealion after all.

IIRC there was a Canadian Division in France Spring 1940 that was seperated from the rest of the BEF somewhere near the Maginot Line that wasn't evacuated at Dunkirk but got out at some other port, Does any one *cough* Dorosh *cough* have any details about this division?

Ah, I see they're fighting the Belgians In Italy!
I will use them for my Norwegian campaign. I hope to make some sort of Norwegian uniforms once I'm done with the Dutch.

Hello,
I've been searching old threads and I just want to confirm that when Steve says models will not be modable that means making new "meshes" for figures will not be possible. In other words if a figure does not have a greatcoat. No new mesh can be made to give figures a greatcoat.

Wow! Two new Andrew F mods in 4 days. Looks nice. Does it come with a cap?

Thanks for the hints. I suspect the voice wavs follow this pattern. I would be glad for any one to tell me I'm wrong.
3's = German
4's = Finnish
5's = Hungarian
6's = Italian
7's = Rumanian
8's = Russian
