I think it would be good for some of the english speaking players to learn a few frases in other languages. Broaden their horizons. Might be handy if you get into a firefight when being abroad... Something that seem to happen alot to both americans and english these days.

Where can I get hold of mapping mission that supports CMAK?

I there any hexmaps of appropriate size to study when making CM maps? I make alot of maps and have always focused on making them reasonably good looking, at the expence of playability. Would like to study some good maps, as ASL ones, not for converting but for inspiration. I've looked at the ASL maps and realised that I make many mistakes, are there more out there?

CMBB for me. It's the size of it. It stretches over such a long time, wast areas and huge armies. It's the only one of the 3 games that actually covers an entire war, if you get what I'm aiming at.

Reporting back from a just finished QB I can add that the brumm rox. Emptied it on the enemy and 6 pounders cant hurt it frontally from 100 meters.

I like the idea of the brummbar. A heavely armoured bar for use at the front during extremly intence combat. Should be a real boost on morale! (Sorry about that, just had to mention it)

So... On the offencive the Brummbär is the choice?

On a side note: What about the Brummbär. It fields the 150 mm gun in a well armoured package. Is it worth the points? Since it's mobile as well it is easy to move around and wreck havoc with. Would you be going for a bunch of 150 infg or 1 brummbär?

Yes. Since tanks are cheaper in platoons, I made sure to buy a platoon of Tigers. Like I said, I played around getting the most inexpensive units I could and still couldn't pare it down to 2,000 points. I blame Seanachai. He obviously sent some virus along with one of his pathologically inept PBEM turns in an effort to insure wins for himself whenever we fight. Bastard. </font>

No I mean like italian airborn vs. british armor in a built up area. At least my opponent found that gamey. I am more interested in how many that play with the settings infantry only and unrestricted and such.

A creative player would of course play an ordinary hexbased game and everytime a contact was made he would play it out in CM and then do a new setup of his hexgame according to the results. Come on guys. Be creative.

How do you set your QB parameters? Do you most often use combined arms? ME,Assault, etc.? Wheather? Auto gen. maps or human made? Do you ever do 'unfair' fights just for the fun of testing it?
