Regardless of statistical numbers, my Armor battalion was disbanded and changed over. Thats all the proof I need that heavy armor numbers are decreasing

Well, I dont agree with your opinion. As soon as I found out that Strykers were coming, I started reading in Army Times and various other official publications that Armor was going away, decreasing in size. Strykers and the Stryker Brigades were never designed as replacements for Armoured units, they are light mobile units which span the gap between light air mobile infantry and heavy armour division.
Strykers and Armour would both have a role to play in a conventional war.
When you bring in vehicle like Stryker, other combat vehicle specialties like M1A1 Abrams crew member suffer

Yeah, breaching ops arent possible/not simulated at this point.
You would need:
Smoke arty rounds
Vehicle generated smoke
Barbed wire obstacles
Being able to ajust arty
Mine plow and mine roller Strykers and Abrams

How about a generic ERASE button?
Right now each set (road, foliage, etc) has it's own erase button. That make it hard to erase a complete portion of a map, as you have to keep switching from one to another. Id love to have Erase All button to simply remove sections of a map.

The plow, atleast on M1, is designed to push obstacles (barbed wire) away, and just barely touch the top soil
Mine roller is heavy enough to explode mines underneath it.

Thanks, yep, I am adding some M1A1s to version 1.2, and a briefing as well.
Both a learning scenarios, and I am still just guessing when it comes to AI.
BTW, anyone feel free to use the maps, etc

Panzermartin, you can add grafiti, etc by modding current house wall textures. But it would be nice to have all those as a selection for one building wall already in game

Well, in RL, you can just call an arty strike on a certain grid point, without have any eyes on target. All you need is a 8 point grid reference point.

Could you please add this Stryker variant?
The Engineer Squad Vehicle (ESV) provides maneuver/mobility support capabilities, which include obstacle clearing, in-stride breaching of surface mines, proofing of subsurface mines and smoke generation for local protection. This would add mine-field breaching ability to US forces, plus smoke. Pretty please??
Also, mine plow/roller Abrams can be added
And how about MRAPs like the Cougar?
I know you have larger issues right now then adding realistic engineer support in the game,but maybe you can think about it?

My boxed version of CMSF arrived less then a minute ago. I really like the smell of the manual inside. I hope they didnt use lead paint for printing, as I cant stop sniffing the pages
