  1. I do own Army of Two, and beat it on the day I bought it. It's ok, the story line and characters are laughable
  2. Thats why I started this thread
  3. That vehicle in the video is the EFV (for sure)
  4. I think there are less then 10 people playing CMSF multiplayer
  5. Here is a cool video of Expeditionery Fighting Vehicles 30mm autocannon in action EFV
  6. Tanker's War Stories Slideshow From WW1 to present
  7. John Flavor objects have cover value Regards, M1A1TankCommander
  8. John There is still no such thing as "san" in Russian language. Its called "sani", translated as "sled". It doesnt change to "san", its the same "sani" for single sled or multiple sleds
  9. "All right troops! Lets start our training for our Abu-Graib mission!"
  10. I know Splinty, but my Battalion is scheduled for deployment in 2010, so we cant be tasked before that mission
  11. John I am 99.9% sure Aero-sani were not in CMBB. "Sani" means "sled/sleds", and is the same word for single or multiple. They were used to transport weapons, supplies and soldiers of course "With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, all the aerosleds that existed in the country were mobilized into the Red Army. The designers developed new vehicles for operational use: transport-assault aerosleds NKL-16/41 and NKL-16/42, combat aerosled NKL-26 with armor plate and machine-gun mount, the heavy assault aerosled ASD-400, and also the RF-8-GAZ-98 aerosled." battlefield.ru [ March 18, 2008, 07:18 AM: Message edited by: M1A1TankCommander ]
  12. Well, if we cant have horses or motorcycles, how about Soviet Aero-sani? Widely used during winter for transport and recce role Soviet Combat Snowmobiles
  13. The point I was making with my original post is that the US Army is transforming itself to fight COIN type operations. Yet, the CMSF combat is mostly conventional in nature
  14. Well, I like the new system, it gives the NG guys enough time to train and get things done at home between missions. The combat tours are supposed to be a year now... I dont want to be deployed again. Its time to stop being selfish, and think about my new family. Ive seen too many friends get divorces, I dont want to end up like that
  15. I am in the Guard now, thats why. The Army cant use us as much as active duty guys. The 6 year cycle (one deployment, 5 training) is brand new, just implemented, so who knows how well it will work
  16. Well, we did one in 2006 for 16 months, came back spring 2007. Supposed to be 5 years between deployments
  17. I only did one year because I know my unit isnt deploying till fall of 2010. I want to avoid being deployed, since I am getting married and all. After they come back, Ill re-join the unit In National Guard they are offering $7.5K for 3 years, $15K for 6 years
  18. Thanks Still no response from BFC (2 weeks later after original post)...
  19. I just extended my contract by one more year...We will see what happens
  20. How about showing a circle around the tagreted area, which would represent "danger close area". This would help the player to see if any friendly units are in danger of becoming friendly casualties. Or, perhaps, flashing red for the units that are in danger close area, to get player's attention.
