I have a pentium 2, 400 Megahertz with 192 RAM. Do you think there is a chance the game will work?

I'm playing Terif for the first time and boy I'm a getting a lesson. It's like playing chess with Deep Blue. But I have already put this frighting experience to use in new game against a human and I took Poland and LC in turn 2 and took Denmark in turn 3 and had a total breakthrough in France on turn 4. Danke Terif!

You go up in rank when you beat someone higher but when Kurt lost some games it must have been against some low ranked players that moved up but was to far behind to pass by Kurt. Kurt got his Nr one spot when there was very few players in the league and have not played so many games since. There is other ways to see how good a player is...win/loss, skill level and # of higher ranked players you fought with.

They should command units that will win in combat. Units that loose will lower the experience for the HQ they are attached too. Air units give their HQ a lot of experince if they keep on knocking out enemy units. Higher tech units is good since they tend to win more often but you got to win. Everything depends how strong the enemy is.

So what will be new in this area. Will Spain get any partisans? New rules, new nations?

I´ll be there....mostly PBEM but if someone can play very late my time(GTM+1) and host IP is also an alternative.

I agree with kurt88 about Bill101, I had many fun games with him and hopefully many more to go. Other guys I played a lot with are JerseyJohn, Xwormwood and Oak. I never had a game with Kurt88 but if he's interested I like to have a game. Send me a mail Kurt!

Xwormwood wins against Rannug(Axis). I'm still waiting for FF to start our game. This scenario is fun but the first turns makes or brakes you.

Iron Ranger beats Rannug in Fall Blau. He attacked strong in the south of Russia and split Ruyssia in two. The loss of MPP for Russia was a disaster and this was the decisive reason to his victory. He plays good so guys look out for this guy and defend south of Russia better then I did. Another mistake I did was doing a Med offensive and delaying D-Day. Do D-Day right away, this should help the Russians in the difficult first phase then if nothing goes wrong time is in favour of the Allies.

Why doesn't anyone talk about Guderian?

I'll like to be part of the fun.....never played a human in this scenario.

My worst games ever are going on at the moment against Reepicheep. We are doing a double game and I'm loosing both. Normaly I'm quite good at avoiding mistakes but in these games they are to many to count; I failed to get ANY free French, forgot to have the right garnison at the Russian border, I fail badly in any strategy I tried to carry out. He's playing good and is capably to win even if I do things right. Every time I see that he sent me his turn I get depressed. Bill 101 knows very well how to do a D-Day but his timing has been bad. First he did it prematurly and then he waited to long. You got to hit France when the Axis are bizzy somewhere else and try to cordinate D-Day with some good Russian moves.
