Another corps killed and almost killed one more(down to one). I should with a little luck be able to take Paris before the summer. That's the summer of 1941 :eek:

November 1940 Things don't look good for the Axis. Soon I might have more HQ's then corps but we did kill two french corps this turn so there is still some hope left.

I was also very tired last night, I invested 2 chits in AT for UK by misstake when it was ment to be for Russia. I sold the UK chits and and bought something else. What a great deal; Pay for 2 and get one

Late September Last carrier sunk but no closer to Paris then before and lots of corps in the way....

I lost 3 subs, one ship, one air, 2 panzers,3 Armys and one corps.......a f**king mess. Paris is not even on the map The only good thing is that the RN is down to 3 ships and one Carrier, all but one damaged.

One more UK ship sunk, killed a corps and retook the usual hex but lost a Luftwaffe unit doing so. This is not Blitzkreig at all

Late July 1940 Only 4 UK ships and 3 carriers left, All but one or two damaged. French Army in the FBHex down to strength 1. Time to stop playing WW1.

Carrier sunk in the Baltic and the Luftwaffe kills a french Army with one blow, Some other Luftwaffe units had to refuel.

May 1940 - Luftwaffe turns on France again, one corps dead for the Allied and a hex gained. RAF shows it's alive for the first time and 2 of them!

2 Allied ships sunk in the Baltic due to the Luftwaffe and Kreigsmarine.

French corps dead but the Allied Navy is on the way into the Baltic..

Polen and LC falls - Feb 04 1940

Warsawa will probably fall next turn, LC still fights on....

Denmark now Axis, Polen and LC still resists the evil force.

LC failed , basterd down to 1 but alive.

Napoleon didn't place Bernadotte into becoming Swedish king. Russia attacked Sweden because Sweden refused to join into Napoleons trade embargo on the UK. At the time(1809) France and Russia was allied and Napoleon gave the OK to Russia to attack Sweden. The loss of Finland caused a revolt against Gustav IV Adolf and Sweden got a new king Karl XIII but he was old and had no children. So one had to find a king to be....first they picked a danish prince but he fell off a horse and died. In Europe politics had changed so now France and Russia was no longer allied. The next candidate to be king was Bernadotte, Sweden thought that a french general as king could help to form an pact with France against Russia so Finland could be retaken. Good Idea but before things was set up for a war Napoleon attacked Russia and lost. So Bernadotte who didn't like Napoleon very much formed a pact with Russia against France and Denmark. The idea was to accept the loss of Finland but to get Norway insteed. Norway became Swedish 1814 but to avoid bad feelings with Norway that wanted to be independent, a union was formed that lasted to 1905. Norway has been a free country for 100 years now!
