Turn 4 Allies: A battleship has a look at the airfleet that attacked the UK air directly: still at strength 7, so no chance to kill it... . Heavy fights in LC, german army survives the counter attack with str 2. Time to retreat from Germany. First sub sunk, the other surrounded and at str 1, will sink next turn. -

November 15, 1942: First russian army destroyed in Russia. German army survives the counter with 1 strength. Iraq liberated, all enemy forces east of Suez eliminated. Next turn victorious Turkey/Iraq veterans can move back to their home country for defence. Now 6 armies, 3 tanks, all airfleets and lots of corps are free for new tasks. Russia reached Lv3 jets. USA Lv2. In the west, US and canadian forces supported by US air and UK carrier liberate Algier, one italian corps transport destroyed in a battle at Malta. Africa will soon be allied. Only Alexandria and Tobruk belong to Italy. [ July 02, 2003, 10:37 AM: Message edited by: Terif ]

August 30, 1942: Suez liberated. Beirut and Iraq under russian attack. No possibility to retreat or to bring in reinforcements to Iraq for Axis now. In western Turkey: Axis forces destroy some units and are only 2 hexes away from Istanbul. All romanian ressources still in russian hands. Sometimes London port is attacked by german air to force UK air to intercept.

But first Russia took both romanian oilfields . Reinforcements arrive at Istanbul and Bucharest. The eastern turkish city conquered. Some Axis units build a defence line in the south. Romania still fighting. Transport battles at Tobruk. Some US transports are still looking for empty cities in the Med. Germany reached Lv1 anti-tank. March 8, 1942: Yes, Allies have to choose the best place to attack. They dont have superior numbers in this stage of war, they have to choose their targets and limit their losses. But now Russia grows stronger . Counterattack from 2 sides: from Smolensk, german army killed near Minsk. And from Riga russian tanks and armies move towards Koenigsberg to cut off german forces in middle Russia/Minsk. At Brest one italian corps destroyed, landings in France, Brest cut off.

I vote with Rambo for extending the days idle to 24 = 3 weekends. Rambo: Would be good, but unfortunately it seems not to be possible (as far as I know) to implement a "vacation time out" in the system (technical issue). BTW: 4 weeks holidays in Germany are minumum, set by law. But standard in many companies are 6 weeks. Sometimes the length increases from 4-6 depending on how long you worked for the company (in years). The "age" system is used in the public sector: your holidays depend on how old you are. Working time depends on the branch/company: between 35-45 hours usually. Exceptions proof the rule . In Germany exists around 1300 - more or less different - collective agreements, that determine working time and holidays. And it can also depends on your individual treaty.
