  2. Nov/Dec 1940: Sweden surrenders after 3 turns. Free french corps at Suez destroyed, Suez loop eliminated. UK reaches Lv 1 jets. Germany Lv0. Transports near Brussel, but they retreat without battle after some german air and tanks appeared...
  3. September 15, 1940: Axis declares war on Sweden. An invasion task force moves in from Norway. Allies transport a new corps to Alexandria via Suez.
  4. August 25, 1940: Vichy surrenders. Brest occupied. Italian landings at Suez.
  5. August 11, 1940: Bordeaux abandoned. Axis conquers Norway.
  6. June 30, 1940: Paris is not entrenched and falls with the first contact. France surrenders. Brest and Bordeaux occupied by UK units. Naval battle at Brussel and Denmark: one german cruiser lost. Some UK battleships damaged, french cruiser sunk.
  7. June 16, 1940: Allies start evacuating France. French army and UK corps destroyed, french mine captured. German tanks reach the outskirts of Paris. Italy will join now.
  8. April 28, 1940: Germany is slowly moving towards Paris. This turn 2 french armies killed. UK sends a new army to France. Still heavy airbattles each turn.
  9. Turn 5: Every single polish unit destroyed. Finally Poland surrenders. German forces conquers the first french hex. A french Hq is supporting their units.   10. Turn 4: Poland survives with 2 strength 1 units + 1 corps... Heavy fights in the west.

  12. Turn 2: Axis conqueres Low Countries. In 2 polish units destroyed, Germany in the outskirts of Warsaw.
  13. September 29, 1940: The war is over ! Axis surrendered. Norway in allied hands. German invasion force destroyed or encircled without Hq now. Originally 1 Hq, 3 armies, 3 corps.
  14. Bid is a new record: 440 Turn 1: Axis DoWs Denmark and operates units west to attack LC in turn 2.
  15. September 1, 1940: The last german cruiser counts now the fishes on the ground. 2 UK ships and a free french army lost. German invasion forces are missing another army. Hq under attack from 4 sides. Will not survive very long. Heavy airfights in Denmark. UK Transports approaching Brest again...
  16. Germany attacked with ships and moved all air to Denmark. Allies sink a cruiser and the sub. High naval losses expected next turn . UK air reached now Lv2 jets and fights duels with german air (Lv0) from Denmark. Additional allied units arrive in Norway. Italian landings around Alexandria.   17. The battle of Brest was very expensive. Norway becomes now a big land and naval battle. 3 Allied armies landed in Oslo. 6 UK cruiser and battleships attack. Germany lost one army and a corps. The landed Hq damaged.
  18. Axis declared war to Norway. All 4 remaining axis airfleets are now in the battle of Brest: the first UK carrier lost. Without airstrikes, Norway survived the first attack and is reinforced with new troops.
  19. July 7, 1940: After a small period of cease fire the largest airbattle in history took place at Brest-Paris. 3 carriers and 2 UK airfleets against 5 german sirfleets. In the first turn Allies lost one airfleet. Germany lost 2 airfleets and an army. French landings in France, canadian forces move forward, attacking german air...
  20. June 9, 1940: Allies abandon Bordeaux, Brest corps entrenching.
  21. May 12, 1940: Evacuation successfully completed. France will fall next turn. Nothing left to defend it . Iron Ranger: The game is nearly perfectly balanced, but I played with Zapp very much games now and we both know each others tactics in every detail. If nobody makes a fault, it would be a draw without bid. But the game is more risky for Allies. One wrong move and they loose their airfleets or carriers and their possibility to win. Axis has not that much of risk, if they loose some airfleets, doesnt matter cause they have the mpp advantage. Allies have to do twice as much damage as they take, during invasion time or they have bad chances to win - at least with the strategies we both use now . There are no real strategical surprises any more between us, the other good possibility for Allies to win. So you can say: our high bid is the risk surcharge for Allies. If they dont make a mistake they should win with this bid... (I hope so at least ).
  22. April 14, 1940: Evacuation procedure started. French armies and UK corps operate/march to ports. Mine and Maginot abondoned. A North-South corps line secures the retreat. All ships and airfleets left the french battle...
  23. Turn 5 Allies: Ireland surrendered 2 turns ago. First german sub sunk, next turn the last one. Heavy fights in France.

  25. Turn 1 Allies: DoW to Ireland. Polish units build a solid line from north to south. Airduels in Poland.
