  1. September 15, 1946: Obviously the conditions change over time for the Siberians. Finally they were transfered. But many turns too late. Axis is standing near Urals and Caucasus now. Another strange thing: siberians were divided: the combat units appeared in the Urals, the Hqs in the caucasus, to make them even more ineffective. 2. August 25, 1946: Intelligence counts 15 german armies and lots of italian corps and armies. Italy reached Lv 2 anti-tank, Germany Lv 3. [ June 28, 2003, 02:02 PM: Message edited by: Terif ]
  3. There must be a program error or a hidden feature.. Siberians did NOT arrive in the last turns. All key cities that trigger the siberians are attacked and 3 axis units adjacent to Moskov...they should have arrived 2 turns ago. Siberian war is off in the options. Perhaps they dont arrive any more after a certain date ?... However, without the Siberian: no chance to hold the line very long. I am curious if Axis reaches Ural and Caucasus before the Stalemate...
  4. July 28, 1946: Axis throws everything into a last battle before the stalemate in 1947. It even moves some airfleets in dangerous places to spot Allied positions. But Germany has enough air: 17+ airfleets. Allies lost nothing in the first attack. Heavy airfights in the counter and Germany looses an airfleet. A solid line of corps, armies and tanks has been built by Allies at the line Leningrad-Moskov, Voronezh, Rostov.
  5. In May 1946 Axis attacked again with its 15 airfleets... Time to go back another hex with the air and to bring the rockets in safety.
  6. Yes, each airfleet duell costs around 250 mpp. To kill a rocket Axis needed usually 6 airfleets, that makes 1500 mpp losses per turn . Not even Germany can afford these losses very long... Time to reinforce, Russia retreated most of its rockets. Except the one entrenched in the city.
  7. Allied airunits retreated some hexes back, hopefully out of range of Axis air.. US battleship attacking Brest, Axis ships attacking Malta. US transports are looking for open cities. Scapa Flow was american some turns, but it was time to go now and look for a better place to live . [ June 28, 2003, 12:09 PM: Message edited by: Terif ]
  8. Yes, LR was deadly. So Axis were able to attack US/russian airfleets directly. For the immediate counterstrike in the allied turn, Axis had some airunits left, so they didnt loose an airfleet. But investing in airfleets wouldnt make sense for Russia. They cant attack with them, only secure the status quo, but they have to throw Axis out of russia in order to win. 9. August 19, 1945: Rocket numbers are increasing.. After one year researching with 5 chits they reached Lv3 now. Slowly gaining experience... Axis cant attack them without triggering the Siberians . And the side that starts attacking with airfleets, will loose them immediately the next turn. Both sides have now 15+ airfleets standing in 2 rows standing out of reach of the enemy air, but close enough to attack an enemy corps to force them to intercept. Its like in the cold war: airfleets are the deterrent weapon (similar to nukes). The side that starts the air war will loose the most.. so no one wants to start the war
  10. Russia has now 7 rocket units in action. The only chance against the experienced german armies... [ June 28, 2003, 11:25 AM: Message edited by: Terif ]
  11. July 22, 1945: I wanted to wait until my rockets reach a higher lv before attacking, but now I have not much time left to reach Berlin... Therefore I had to move them forward now. The last battle has begun...
  12. November 12, 1944: Still not a single fights, nothing new in the east... Both armies are many miles away from each other.
  13. Brest abandoned after both german cruisers started bombarding. Both sides are now standing 3-5 hexes or more away from each other (except Sevastopol). A deadly corridor between them . Allies and Axis are buying each an airfleet per turn..
  14. No fightings in the last turns. Both sides are preparing for the last big battle....
  15. July 2, 1944: German air is back in Russia, heavy airfights. Axis retreated until Kharkov with its forces. Russia attacks the last italian corps at the mine near Rostov, but without success.
  16. June 18, 1944: Axis forces retreat from Rostov. Obviously they dont want to trigger the Siberians until they have finished off Sweden and moved all air back to Russia...
  17. May 28, 1944: Yes, Axis forces are now too overwhelming. Too much mpp against Allies now. In Sweden 4 armies, 2 Hqs (including Zhukov with 4 medals)and a couple of corps lost in the last 2 turns. Now its only a matter of time until the mpp advantage and experience of Axis kills the remaining allied forces. [ June 28, 2003, 09:24 AM: Message edited by: Terif ]
  18. April 30, 1944: No chance to stand against 8 german airfleets in Sweden. Russia tries to evacutate as much as possible. Near Rostov a last surprising US/russian counteroffensive begun. But German armies there are too experienced, so they lost no unit. All 5 airfleets attacked Rundstedt Hq, but unfortunately it survived, its death could have turned the tide for at least a while, but now the end of Allies is near... 19. March 5, 1944: US transport take Scapa Flow. Heavy airfights in Sweden 8 german against now 6 allied airfleets... next turn its time to reinforce . [ June 28, 2003, 09:25 AM: Message edited by: Terif ]
  20. November 28, 1943: Russia kills a german tank in Norway. The airfights reveal: Germany moved all but 2 airfleets to Denmark and bought a new one. Now it is 6 against 5 in Denmark. Brest still US held, but Axis forces are attacking in France. They are superior in number. [ June 28, 2003, 07:43 AM: Message edited by: Terif ]
  21. October 31, 1943: Finally the sub in the atlantic is killed. Germany operates air to Denmark, again heavy airfights, no air losses, but one german army killed. Russian units again in the outskirts of Oslo . The german air is missing in the east: only one russian corps killed this turn. Axis advances slow down.
  22. Rambo: It seems Russia is gaining control of Sweden/Norway now. Just Germany attacked with a bomber and cruiser and destroyed both russian cruiser. But Germany lost another airfleet, same for USA. Now it is standing: 6 allied airfleets in Sweden against 5 german in Russia, one in Spain, and one newly bought. That makes 6 against 7, but no enemy air in the Norway area any more . Germany has only 4 armies, tank, some corps and Hq in Norway left. One US HQ is in Sweden, supporting the airfleets . I dont tell where the others are... But I have a third front in France now .
  23. October 3, 1943: An important victory for Allies ! Prepared the last 5 turns. No airfights in Russia during this time. All US and russian airfleets have been positioned in Sweden to do a deadly strike to Axis. Now 2 german airfleets and a corps killed, romanian army destroyed, cruiser damaged. Russia gains ground in Sweden. In the west US landings in France, Brest taken. Transports waiting at Spain. The sub dived again and is still alive with 1 strength point...
  24. September 9, 1943: Axis conquered 3 hexes now around Kharkov and reduced the entrenchment to 0. Therefore it will fall next turn probably. The sub near Portugal dived against the attacking battleships and survived this way one turn. All 4 hexes around it are occupied by US ships, so no escape . Only some airfleets can save it. At least one is missing in the east... US transports are looking for empty cities..
  25. August 8, 1943: Axis is slowly moving towards Kharkov. Unfortunately Germany developed Lv1 LR. German air attacks russian Hq entrenched in the fortress Sewastopol, but no damage. Hqs in fortresses are nearly undestructable through airfleets (defence bonus 4 against air ). Heavy fights in Norway/Sweden. [ June 28, 2003, 05:56 AM: Message edited by: Terif ]
