  1. You did set the recording settings to "half-size" and "15 pics a minute"? Well, I am facing the same problem. As soon as I start to record the framerate drops from 25-40 down to 8-10. It is a pitty, but I don't know another tool which does petter.

  3. Gridline Mod, I couldn't live without it. Well, at least I couln't play without it.
  4. 1. remove preference file in cmbb/cmak directory 2. change windows screen resolution to what you want to play cmbb/cmak 3. start cmbb/cmak and choose desired resolution 4. close cmbb/cmak 5. you can now switch your windows screen resolution back to what you prefer for working under windows. cmbb/cmak will keep the resolution you have chosen under point 3.
  5. Danke schrullenhaft. After an hour of testing I now know that a higher screen resolution definitely causes nicer ingame graphics. (though slowing the system down quite a bit) Had I only tried earlier, a year or so ago. Ah, it is amazing. The problem is that you only get to chose the screen size from your current screen resolution downwards. Had to change my windows resolution to a higher one first.
  6. Hi, I am using 1024x768 screen resolution to play CMBB and CMAK so far. However, on most screenshots I see from the Combat Mission community, there seems to be a higher screen resolution. Do the graphics look better at a higher resolution? My computer works excellent now, no frag problems and I have installed several high-resolution mods. What resolution do you play CMBB/CMAK with?
  7. I first was relating to the german helmets. however, I found out that they were not modded for cmak. sorry about that. now, after some research, I have to admit that there are not german helmets modded (until now to my knowlege).

They just look so much different in details than the rest of the uniform. No offence meant.
  9. I think I remember having seem a helmet mod. So you don't need to do that work again. If you can add a txt file to your zip file with a link to the helmet mods, that would do well enough. And just as a matter of curiousity: Is it impossible to mod trousers in cmak?
  10. don't forget to use http:// if i start the url with www.... it doesn't work.
  11. you are a lucky guy. in my experience, aircrafts somtimes hit. often enough my own men. however, i cannot say how accurate this is in a historical way.
  12. I suggest for multiplayer games the chat that you find under (http:\\www.combatmission.com:8000) Excellent, also you can ask questions there if you have any. btw, only the host needs to give his IP-address. You can find yours under www.whatismyip.com.
  13. Hello I am not a modder, but I am sure it should be possible to mod the dirt that you see around a unit that is shot at (eg yellow or bright green). There are mods of explosions etc out there, so maybe a modder can do it if you find one.
  14. you can sell a game you bought, as long as you won't use it yourself anymore. that is legal. no problem.
  15. Did you try to install CM:BB for you CM:AK or somthing like that? The versions don't share the same numbers for the pics.
  16. check: http://www.cdv.de/index.php?id=1066986497&g=3_games_vorschauprodukt&sid=de010300&l=d#6 for Germany. Release: Deutschland, Frankreich, UK: 28 November 2003 / USA: tba
  17. Is it true that none of the Mods of that database are CMMOS compatible? That is rather surprising for me, as I very much like that CMMOS programm for its easy on/off switching of Mods. If the database is not yet up to date about that information, ignore this post and I will be happyly waiting for the feature to be enabled.
  18. I know that some people don't know an answer. And also I know that some just don't want to unhide their mysterious secrets about warfare. But there must be some kind of guide or a couple of good tutorials for CMBB. Please help me out.
  19. speaking of CMHQ: Are the two Mad-Dog Mods on that site working on CMBB? I couldn't find any information about that... thx.
  20. Hello I haven't played CMBB in a while and would like to start again. Unfortunately, I have deleted the tutorials about tactics/strategy and the tables of the units. I tried to locate those on the internet, without success. Is there a pdf or word file containing good information? Something like the "Strategy Guide"-book, but created by players? please. help. 21. Hi everybody, I am working on an Operation-Map of 10 fights. However, i couldn't figure out how the new frontline after each fight is calcultated in order to set up the next fight's starting position. The manual wasn't of any help. Does the attacker has to get some of his troups to the defenders side of the map or is the a more accurate kind of calculating used?
  22. There seems to be a download error. I get a message "Server temporary error". If you can fix it, i'd be happy because i dont like the current editor at all.
