icons indicate a place where you have seen a enemy unit that has moved out of your sight. The icon will stay there until you see this unit at another place on the battlefield. you cannot target the icon, but the area. if the unit is still there it will be pinned (depending of the heaviness of your fire), and of course get injured.

after doing the set up, you alt-tab back to the chatroom. you tell you opponent your ip, then go immediately back to combatmission and wait, until the 3D graphics have loaded. otherwise the screen/program doesn't work. once both players see the map, you can use alt-tab without restrictions.

no way you can get to 1280x800 with that. you would need to set the resolution of your windows higher before playing, but you can't due to your limited options on the laptop.

Hi, same problem with my CD's. Now I just keep CMBB in my CD-drive, the DVD-drive is free for other disks and CMAK is started from a CD-image. I guess it would be possible to do the same with CMBB, but I haven't tried.

No, that is not dangerous in any way. I mean the buttons on the monitor itself that widen/narrow/move the part of the screen that is used to display data. at that resolution the GO button should be several centimetres away from the right hand side of the screen. Remove the preference file in the cmbb folder and start the game again. (you could change your monitor settings by using the buttons on your monitor itself, but that is just treating symptoms)

I use another harddisk for the movie I record. I can assure you I doesn't make much of a difference unless that harddisk is a very fast one (instead of a common one).
