I have the Radeon 8500 with 64mb. I think it works great. No fog, but I dont care. With many hi res mods it still looks great.

OOps! I installed a mod, now I want to change to a different one, but alas, I forgot to make a backup of the original buttons. Could some kind person please e-mail me a copy of the four buttons? Please. I promise to make a copy in the future.

Are you starting at 8mb or 16mb? Hell, if you are getting a new card go for 64mb. You wont be sorry.

They look cool, but a suggestion... swap the pictures for "1 player" and "e-mail". The 1 player button is a picture of 2 guys, and the e-mail button is a picture of one guy. If it were the other way around it would be more logical IMHO. J

I think the people with legitimate real life issues could still send off a "hey I gotta bail because..." message. I have gotten them before. People that have to move, or their grandma died so they will be gone for a week etc. I have a few games that were going well (for me), that just evaporated. A bit frustrating. :mad: I think a list of the perps sounds good. If someone gets put on that last, they can defend themselves. Hell, I say we force them to wear a scarlet "A" on their chest. J

Since you live in KY you should buy it from the website. You will not get screwed. They seem to be of the highest caliber in all respects. IMHO

Actually the USN uses USS, not USN. Like USS Enterprise for example. I think it stands for United States Ship.

I'm using a Samsung SyncMaster 170s 17" LCD. It has worked great so far. No speakers, but I didn't want them attached to the monitor anyway. It takes up a lot less valuable desk real estate. I keep it at 1280 x 1024 for everything.

I was playing CMBO the other day and a Sherman Crocodile had the tank commander picked off by a sniper, after the crew pulled it together I had the tank driver around and do its thing. It came accross some infantry many times( as I had already eliminated my opponents armor) even from ranges under 20m it never used the flame thrower again. 1)Is this normal? 2)If yes, why? That is a completely apples and oranges comparison. A foolish choice to try to make your point IMO.

I think 1.8 Ghz = 1,800 Mhz, so no, it is not the same as a Pentium 5, which I dont think even exists yet. A 1.5 Ghz cpu is 3 times faster than a 500Mhz cpu I think.
