How do I get the 251/1 to have both fwd and aft MG positions manned? thanks JP

back in CMBO, I think, I had about 4 tanks driving forward on turn 2. Naturally they were unbuttoned. Along comes a plane and drops a bomb that lands right in the center of their formation. All 4 tank commanders were killed. *sigh*

oh, this is something I do, is it gamey? nobody accused me, but just wondering The German 251/1 does not have a gunner, so when a tank or vehicle of mine gets knocked out, I rescue the crew with a 251/1 and have the crew be the gunner on the HT. I thought it seems a little iffy, but is darn useful. I dont have a "crew platoon" mount a pistol offensive or anything, just man the halftracks.

I am just assuminng that "PzKfW" is a woman, because of the whining and refusal to play further. I do not actually know. It is possible that "PzKfW" is an 8 year old boy, once again, just speculation.

So I started a QB ME, huge map, large battle, as advertised in a thread I previously started. My opponenent, "PzKfW", chose Germans so I chose USA. After File 021 she stopped sending turns, a couple days go by and I send a PM, "giving up already?" She replies "Wasn't quite gamey enough for me. You know, facing a completely 76mm Sherman army with heavy arty in support. Lol. Shoulda known" I was dismayed to hear my force selection was being called "gamey". I picked only 3 Sherman 76mm tanks, 2 Stuarts a few troop transport halftracks and an understrength Battalion of men, the battalion comes with 81mm and 60mm mortars, my so called "heavy arty". She fielded at least 3 JPz IV tank hunters, at least 3 troop transport halftracks and 4 trucks plus an unknown amount of troops. I started off ok, then I knocked out a JPz IV with a side shot by a Stuart and the files stopped coming. Please, honestly tell me, was I being gamey in my picks or is "PzKfW" a whiney, sore loser that is experiencing her time of the month? Thanks for your input, JP

Hi there, I would like to start a couple games of v2.01 PBEM. QB, ME, hills, clear weather, huge map, large battle. I like Germans but will play either side. no gamey BS. JP

The only way I ever play this game is QB PBEM. It is currently broken. The stuck at 5% loading thing. That is not working properly. Yeah, there may be a work around, but I am sick of game companies putting out broken buggy products and taking my money. *BFC is far better than most, don't think I am bashing them overly hard here, but... my $10 v2.0 upgrade does not do the one thing I bought it to do. What is it about consumers of games that settle for buggy products? People would not accept a car that would not start unless you did a work around by first opening and closing the hood twice, or a pen that would not write unless you held it over a candle before each use, or a DVD player that you had to stick a paper clip in to make the DVD tray open, so why do we as consumers let games be of a lower standard at their initial release? The game I was most recently let down with was Sword of the Stars II. Again, BFC is far better than most...and I am confident that all will be patched and great... in time, but why release the thing if it was not ready for prime time? Am I being too demanding of a consumer to ask that all features of a product work as advertised?

I too look forward to when 2.0 goes gold. This beta is just not up to the usual standards of BFC. Did they expand too widely and now cannot maintain their standards?

Grrrrrr, so happy I paid for an "upgrade". stuck loading at 5% just as Bud B said. WTF do I need to do to get my "upgrade" to work as well as my regular game?
