I have plenty of bumps. Who has answers?

bumping it myself because it continues to happen. Why NEVER CMBB or CMBO, but in CMAK frequently now????

I had it 2 more times in the past 2 days. Its odd that I NEVER had the problem with CMBB. I have almost no mods in CMAK, only the flag mod and a dusty greyhound. But I had many mods in CMBB and NO problems. anybody have any input???

any ideas for what to do on a system with the Radeon 8500? Out of playing different PBEM turns (probably more than 200 by now ) I have only seen it the 3 times though.

I have that too. I NEVER had it in CMBB. I havent changed a thing on my system. Radeon 8500 video card. One time it was scattered trees were just a white tile. 2 other times parts of Panzer mk IV's were white spaces. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm a bug??

I tried a search but... so anyways, how do I activate the esc key so that it lets me get back to the desktop, rather than alt+tab? Thanks

I dont have mine yet in Tokyo, but a friend that ordered it from Amazon.co.jp got his on the 4th.

did I mention that I would be happy to pay another $10 or so to get a proper manual?

I would prefer an actual book type manual that I can take with me and read on the train going to and from work, at lunch, and every other spare second of my day until I have it memorized. I too understood PDF as on the screen only.

perhaps some sort of large red label on the envelope saying something like: DO NOT BEND! I have seen that sort of thing before.

Ok, so everyone attack me for being a lazy American that can't speak German or Russian, but I for one would like to have an option for English voices with the appropriate accent. I would like to know what my boys are saying. I think it is a wonderful idea for an option. If you don't like the idea, then don't select that option.

Every couple of months I remove the cover and vaccuum out the case of all the dust bunnies that get in there. I use a drinking straw to vac the heatsink fins. Keeps the air flowing nicely.

Does the CD rom drive spin all the time? I often take my game CD out after I start the game because onece the game is started it does not need the CD to do PBEM games.

I know you tried it already, but it sounds like overheating to me too. Have you checked to see if there is a lot of dust etc. built up around the heatsink fins by the processor chip. Perhaps poor airflow to this area. Also, do you have it overclocked?

Good point. So I guess I restate my request for a final answer from whoever may be the ultimate power in charge of the game. I still love the game, I just want to know.

I would like to know once and for all, by someone who REALLY DOES know (cite your source) if the game models mechanical failures as immobilized, or just bogging and battle damage??? Enquiring minds want to know.

I had a 251/1 halftrack bog on a paved road on a clear dry day. What possibility to bog on a PAVED road is there???? I could not believe it was really bogged. I thought it must represent a mechanical failure, but if that is not possible, then what the hell????

Are you working on some kind of plane/ tank hybrid?? Like a King Tiger that looks like a Me-109?? Or are you working on a plain tank?

I think crew experience plays a significant role in bogging and immobilizing. A green crew is way more likely to bog than a veteran crew. Anybody else heard that before??
