CMBB: Diverse tank platoons?
Incognito replied to hellfish's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Bout unit rarity(didn't mind starting a nwe topic) Is there "rarity" in experience levels? Stupid but had to ask, could be fun if the qb units experience variety would be "wider", aka from "greens" to "vets" etc. -

Just an thoughtful photo from Kursk

Well you have to be careful if you get tied into exclusively naming series of things after other series of things. We Brits get around this by not having a system and then failing to apply it consistently. But I suspect that the US Army is riding for a fall in this regard. For instance helicopters as indian tribes. Yes: Apache; Commanche; Chinook. Cool names - but what happens when only the really long unpronounceable and unspellable ones are left? Or consider - tanks as generals. Grant; Lee; Sherman; Abrams etc. All good stuff. But what happens when you're left with the M1A1 Arnold? We Brits would of course be pleased but there might be some internal dissent from those who failed to appreciate Gen Benedict Arnold for his bravery in making a difficult choice in a tough situation. I do sincerely hope though that the Lee/Grant makes it in. We demand freak tanks! Toodle pip![/QB]</font> -

How do the fronts differ in CM BB?
Incognito replied to Prinz Eugen's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I have understand that yuo can import maps and troops from previous battle as a somekind of replasement of "real" campaing. So is there QO too? (quick operations) Might be "groovier" in the sence of campaing. -

Yes I'm evil nercomanacer and I have trapped multple souls of succesfull generals(be aware Fion yuor reputation is growing in scales that in one morning yuo might wake up in my crystal- ball ) Umm ,no just a little luck at beginning thats all. My opponent just "let it go". Nothing to tell about. And I really dont have any necromanatic powers they are just mumbo jumbo (mutters sumthing about "flesh chamber filling and moves away)
