Ok, it's nice that someone is showig Germans in little different light. Surely yuor average 14 year old fatso wargamer is little prone to "compensate" his lacking qualities given how masculine most of German uniforms look. I however can't fathom this hatred towards "Manouver". To me it seems like natural tendency for soldiers to turn their attention towards spatial matters and timetables as they rarely can affect into their equipment. What Im saying is, yuo go to battle whit gun yuor given and yuo can't choose if yuor fighting enemy bigger than yuo. Are modern militaries fixed to terminology to the point where none one is even trying to see outside the box of mobility? Possibly, but if yuo look at how yuor average infantry platoon differs from that of 70 years ago. Yeah, trucks instead of ponies. What can yuo do if yuor faster, but nothing much more? Technical developement has ment that military terminology has centered around that. It doesn't mean that that words like exchance ration and attiration containment are bad, they are just hard to measure. Yuo may burn little manpower now, as attacker allways does, but if in the end yuo manage to surround the enemy it kinda makes up to it. Average commander probably doesn't know how many enemies he has killed irw unlike in CM. He only knows that he has this many troops left and that he is on schedule.

Uuum what's wrong whit little gore? Fracly I miss CMBO clear and low end user friendly graphics but as the common trent goes for more and shinier they might as well add the blood and gore animations to cm3. Thou the parental lock should be named as grog lock appearantly from all these post.

Well moved 5th time and again I went along road and atleast I thought that I used all the cover(of those stupid trees) and moved some half squads on as scouts and tried moving on small steps and so on and so on... total defead! my quys won't just spot those ruskies not even their fuc...foxholes. One time I actually spotted a Mg by sending a half-suad on death patrol(so it opened fire earlier) and as I tried supress it...it just killed my whole platoon, lol. Conclusion: 1.I'm very very stupid. or: 2.Time to send hate-mail. 1. Is more likely true ,but I'm just gonna go whit latter
