  1. I have also ran in to this issue of "corrupt" email files. I suggest that once you´re done with your turn, save and open your opponent´s file in order to see if it´s working. If you are asked for correct password it works fine. Perhaps this will be fixed in a future patch. (hint)
  2. Cheers! We tried to send the file again but same result. We don´t compress and it´s unlikely that data should be lost twice, but we´ll try that anyway. I will also ask my opponent to do his last turn again to make a new file save. I tell you of the outcome. Thank you for your help!
  3. I´ve played 15 turns with my opponent (CMBB), no errors at all. Then, receiving my 24th mail, only a windows "alert sound" is played when i try to open it and nothing happens. My opponent use the american version while I play the CDV version. Both play on PC. I tried to find some answers in the tech support forum, but no luck. I´ll be thankfull for all help! Cheers!
  4. Check out the diff. between Lee and Grant at these links >> http://www.onwar.com/tanks/usa/fm3med.htm (Lee) http://www.onwar.com/tanks/uk/fgrant1.htm (Grant) Cheers
  5. I´ve only had this problem with TCP/IP games. Anyway, I guess I don´t use ALT-TAB otherwise. I use winXP, geforce3 drivers 30.82 Thx! ~Blitz
  6. Hey! When I start up a IP-game, sometimes the info bar at bottom of the screen turn almost black. I still see some info but most of it goes black. My guess is that pressing ALT-TAB (i.e to be able to write/check IP in the forum) before opponent connect could be issue. Anyone else xperienced the same bug. Plz help ~Blitz
  7. Are flamethrowers (vehicle mounted or team) efficient enough to be worth purchasing. I guess it´s a question about how well you deploy and use them but does anyone of the skilled players regularly use them?
  8. SpaceHamster wrote... -------------------------------------------------- It can be worth it, sure it can. However it ain't nearly as important or necessary some might and seem think. Just go in and go in by force! (backed with mad hamster laught ) -------------------- SpaceHamsters everywhere -------------------------------------------------- I guess that´s a question of tactics. Forcing the enemy to reveal his troops/plans before you should give you the upper hand and most certain victory if you manage to use the info to your adventage. Scouting, even if it´s done with squads, sharpshooters, jeeps or whatever, is essential to all facing a good opponent. Thats my clue!
  9. In most of my games I buy a jeep or two to use as scout units. At turn one they are off scouting, driving to the enemy side. Sometime they can reveal a lot of info about your enemy pos. On the other hand sometimes they get KO without giving any info at all. Worth it or not, it´s your call!
