  1. Something that I never thought about before, but seems strange now. Why was the Tiger so heavy, compared to the M26 and the IS-2? Has anyone an answer to this? All 3 have thick armor, a heavy gun etc. , but still the Tiger is about 14 tons heavier than a M26. Strange. Any feedback welcome.
  2. Most probably around 25.Nov., ruining my chances to pass all my exams in January.

  4. Hi. I'm looking for comparative armor penetration of the guns used in the Jagdtiger, King Tiger, Su-100, Su-122, Su-152. I have no real source making a direct comparison possible as there are given different angles, ranges, etc. etc. This doesn't have to be highly detailed, but I'd like to know how powerful the 100mm gun REALLY was, compared to the other guns mentioned. thanks beforehand
  5. *LOL* Doggie and Reinold just made my day!!! This is just the kind of dribble that I laugh about the most. Oh, and as far as flames go, it's rather weak. We had slackass posterboys who could do much better. I feel even tempted to mod my CM to show the ARP's, just to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Oh, I'm German by the way, please remember to hate me a lot, hehe....
  6. Try the excellent Seelow operation done by Warphead. Available at Boots&Tracks.
  7. Hi Adam, you're the first to note the xxx seems to have a large effect. It never did much damage during playtesting, hehe...
  8. I just browsed through the scenario depot for something new to play and noticed that some people reviewed my scenario 'South of Heaven' and seemed to like it. Thanks for the cool feedback and the nice words, There will be another scenario coming soon, as soon as I have a bit more time. I'll put it up on www.panzerwalze.de and the depot as soon as it is ready. regards, Lindan
  9. If I'm not mistaken, this is the one from the Sinsheim museum, but I couldn't check as the lycos link didn't work.
  10. I remember that this question came up during beta testing and the answer was: better spotting inside the arc, worse out of it.
  11. Some 18 months ago there seemed to be a plan to make CM (4th installment) the early war years, including everything pre-barbarossa.
  12. Don't tell Andreas that or it will need 4 weeks of constant abuse to get him grounded again. [sigh....still typos in one-liners] [ June 26, 2003, 11:31 AM: Message edited by: Lindan ]
  13. Seelow Heights has been covered for a while by Warpheads excellent operation (available at Boots&Tracks if I'm not mistaken) Can you say something about the differences between the Operation and your battle pack?
  14. By the way: If you are interested in joining but don't speak German feel free to post here. (or in the a.m. thread)
  15. Your best bet is to try the demos. First the CMBO demo for some really cool west front scenarios. Then the CMBB demo to feel the difference. And then it's up to you to decide. If you're into games which challenge your mind and you are interested in WWII there is no other game around that'll serve you better. Many people on this board play the CM series for years now and can vote for it.
  16. ....check German opponent finder forum and post there if interested. Tools4Fools, ParaBellum, Mike8G, Nollof, Warp, etc... ..time to meet again.
  17. hehe.... great minds think alike or somefink.
  18. I'm sorry but I can't say. My old sig included the link to the full article (from a satire magazin) but I deleted it when I shortened the sig to conform to the character limitation. Only later did I realize that I hadn't bookmarked the page. EDIT: just found it. (blame google) http://www.whitehouse.org/news/2003/030603.asp [ June 08, 2003, 12:11 PM: Message edited by: Lindan ]
