  1. Hi Ludi, Thanks for the report and for some background this was supposed to be setup as an AXIS AI event only to make games a bit more interesting for an Allied human player. The setting is incorrect as it was set for all game types and this will be fixed for the next patch. Hubert
  2. Good points and I think the best fix here would be to set Mexico at 0% Allied at the start and this way they'll join the Allies as they did historically unless the Axis player diplomatically pursues them and swings them to the Axis.
  3. Thanks Amona and I believe this one had been previously reported as it is already fixed on my end for the next patch
  4. Hi Amona, This is actually a bug correction now in AoD as you'll have to swing Mexico to the Allies first before it will have a chance to join as it previously did under GOLD. Here is the thread where this issue first came up for reference: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=110639 Hubert
  5. Hi lhughes, The AI engine for AoD is the same one as used in AoC so there will be a lot of similarities in terms of general combat effectiveness of the AI, but you are correct that the big picture is much different in AoD than it is in AoC which adds to the complexity. As it is a newer AI engine you should see some improvements over GOLD, especially in the targeting and destruction of individual units, but others are also correct that it will always be very difficult for an AI to match the prowess of a human opponent. If you like to play games against an AI I don't think you'll be disappointed as you still maintain the ability to make adjustments for additional challenges and you can always try the DEMO first to get a rough idea of what to expect as it covers the initial part of the war up until the invasion of France. Hope this helps and happy gaming , Hubert
  6. Hi Cfant, Can you send me the turn where this crash happens and is repeatable? This can usually be found in the ERROR folder within the installation folder for the game. Please send to support@furysoftware.com Hubert
  7. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I can confirm that Bill is looking into a few options for the next patch
  8. Hi Bertram, There is a description here in the link below on how to do this under the 'Cleaning the All Apps Menu': http://betanews.com/2012/08/02/tame-the-windows-8-all-apps-screen/ Hope this helps, Hubert
  9. Wow, fantastic responses... thanks Strategiclayabout
  10. You'll have to change the maximum experience allowed for the campaign under Campaign->Edit Combat Data to 5 so that max unit strength can then go to 15. For Operational Movement restrictions you'll have to go to Campaign->Edit Country Data and change the settings for 'Air Op. Restrictions'
  11. Happy New Year everyone and for some good news we are happy to announce that Strategic Command: Assault on Democracy is in Gamersglobal's top 25 games of 2013 at number 18! http://www.gamersglobal.de/report/unsere-topten-2013?page=0%2C5
  12. Hi Bertram, For installation I would just install to the default installation directories or at least try and not install any of the expansions into subdirectories of the base SC Global Conflict game. For example, you could have an installation like the following: C:\Program Files\Battlefront\SC Global C:\Program Files\Battlefront\SC Global GOLD C:\Program Files\Battlefront\SC Global AoD C:\Program Files\Battlefront\SC Global AoC Everything that is installed, even if seemingly duplicate will be required for each package to work properly. But again, best not to install within another install to help avoid overwriting from one package to the next and especially if you uninstall single packages at a later point you wouldn't want an uninstall to affect a previous install when directories are removed. Hope this helps, Hubert
  13. There is only one localization file for the game which can be found in the root installation folder of the game. The file is called localization.txt. For custom campaigns, you can place this file in the campaign subfolder and include only items that you want to be overwritten or customized for the game campaign. If you take a look at some of the default campaigns you'll see how this works and with a few experiments you'll get the idea quickly enough as you can immediately see the changes even in the Editor. However, you'll need to reload the campaign before you see the changes. Hubert
  14. It will be displayed if the resource is not considered hidden under FoW, i.e. if you can see the strength value of the resource you are attacking then you will see the lost MPPs message.
  15. I had to double check but the resource needs to be fully visible under FoW as otherwise you won't know the specific damage for the message to display. Hope this helps, Hubert
  16. Hi Mathias, Multiplayer servers are possible just not for the current series. For MPP messages I believe you need to have the messages option turned on in the OPTIONS dialog. For official info on developmental timelines there is unfortunately not much we can commit to at the moment and this wouldn't be the right forums for it either Hubert
  17. Those error messages unfortunately won't ever really be detailed as any number of issues could have occurred in the failed routines but more or less a bug in there somewhere that causes a fault in the EXE. However, when I run it in my development environment I can narrow down the exact cause. Can you send me your campaign .cgn file and scripts and I'd be happy to take a look. Please send to support@furysoftware.com Can you also provide exact instructions on how to repeat the fault as well if it is anything other than simply trying to open the campaign. Thanks, Hubert
  18. Thanks for the file and I've found the issue and will correct it for the next patch as it is a coding issue related to when countries fall and new Primary Supply locations are created for the victors.
  19. The list of names should actually be in alphabetical order and not by build order but I believe there is a bug in the listing code that shows them as you see them now. For Indomitable, we can take a look there to make changes as necessary.
  20. 10 only because the Allies DoW'd Denmark so when Germany takes it back it is not as an occupier but as a liberator and Denmark would be friendly territory much like Hungary that joins the Axis on its own. If it only goes to 5 I'd have to see the game file as there could be something we are missing. Feel free to send it to support@furysoftware.com and I'd be happy to take a look. Hubert
  21. Correct, an Infantry unit of any kind so long as it lands within the Fort de France tile.
  22. In this case it should go to max supply of 10 if it can trace a line of rail tiles back to Germany. This would be similar to countries like Hungary that join the Axis that also have a max supply of 10.
  23. Hi Mathias, We'll look into some of the suggestions and to answer some of your specific questions, the 65th country is already used as a Neutral slot which is used in some areas of the game such as in South America or for Afghanistan and so on. At the moment Hungary can build an HQ but does not start with one. For the Fort de France event you need to land an Axis unit in Fort de France to collect. Hope this helps, Hubert
