  1. This is possible and should actually be covered in the manual under one of the Editor sub topics. For a real life working example take a look at how the D-Day campaign has been customized, i.e. take a look at the subfolders in the 'Campaigns\_D-Day.cgn' folder and the 'campaign.ini' file specifically and it should give you an idea of how this is done. Either way sounds interesting and let us know how it works out
  2. This is intentional as I tried to take the countours of the coast line into account where in SC1 they really were not.
  3. My mistake Rob, I was in a mind frame to avoid abbreviations and never realized that St. John's would be improperly spelled as Saint John's.
  4. Keep in mind the isometric view can make things appear a bit off, for a city like Frankfurt, and while the position is not exact it was probably the better choice as Stuttgart is much lower and not in line with the bottom tip of Benelux etc.

Agreed, would be great to see some of the custom work One suggestion, and only for compatibility reasons, if possible to tag the mods with the current version number that would be great as there is the likleyhood of incompatibility with future patches. This way it is easier to keep track of and understand why a certain mod may no longer work and/or be in need of updating.

  8. This is going to be fixed for the next version as well.
  9. It will not show up for an opponent under FoW but I think you are right that it probably should since you can simply check the numbers on your turn.
  10. AZ, What are your resolutions for the widescreen laptop? Eventually I'd like to try to support more resolutions but unfortunately at the moment I don't have a similar system to test it on. Hubert
  11. This is a known error and something I am working to correct
  12. Currently there is no zoom feature but there are 3 separate resolutions supported. Perhaps one of the higher resolutions will help in this regard? To access the different resolutions simply go to the SETTINGS dialog of the game.
  13. Yes, I forgot to limit the use of these special characters... this has been fixed for the first patch.

Ok I think I found the cause of this DoW bug, looks like when you finish a game, i.e. a GAME OVER victory message appears, the normal thing for the game to do is to disable DoWs... looks like it was not being properly reset (for follow up games) until the whole system is shut down and restarted. This has been fixed for the first patch.
  15. xwormwood, does the first error log coincide with the WAR MAP? i.e. did it crash when you tried ot declare war?
  16. Victory conditions can be viewed under OPTIONS->ADVANCED->SCRIPTS and then selecting Victory in the script window.
  17. 1. This is an intentional part of the design where minor air units cannot operate out of their original countries but if possible you can fly them to any reachable friendly territory. 2. No 3. Most likely weather and this is covered in more detail in the User Manual 4. Currently working to improve this part
