  1. PanzerMike, In this case they will be cutoff cities and max reinforcement will naturally be reduced. There is a pretty complex, behind the scenes, supply model in place and not something that is easily changed to force a no reinforcement rule. May not be perfect but from campaign to campaign, large or small, it seems to work out generally well. Either way I think you'll find that with a little perseverance those pockets will still fall much faster than if they were in full supply.
  2. PanzerMike, Glad to hear you are enjoying the campaign as Kuniworth did a really good job on this one. For questions 1 and 2 these are functions of the game engine and depending on the supply level or how closed the pocket really is it should function as you suspect. For example if units are trapped in a pocket with no HQ or city to draw supply from they should not be able to reinforce. Additionally with low supply their readiness and morale will slowly drop as well. For 3 and 4 I think it is probably best for Kuniworth to respond as he will know the campaign better. Hubert
  3. John, Thanks for the feedback and if you make any edits I'd be curious to see them since they may be helpful as we work to bring this campaign up to speed using the WaW engine. Thanks, Hubert
  4. MemoryLeak, Looks like your units are stuck in the Pripet marshes with low supply and thus with reduced action points. Simply move an HQ unit closer to increase unit supply > 5 and they should be able to at least start moving out of the marsh. Hope this helps, Hubert
  5. MemoryLeak, Difficult for me to say without seeing the actual turn. Please send me a saved turn so I can take a look. Send to support@furysoftware.com Hubert
  6. AmosGraber, Sorry to hear about the trouble. I would suggest reading through the eLicense FAQ found below and if you still have trouble to try email eLicense support directly. http://www.battlefront.com/elicense_faq.html Hope this helps, Hubert
  7. Memorex, Best bet is to contact Anuman, the French retail publisher, directly to get more info on the release of the v1.08 patch. Hubert
  8. Micheal, This feature was not added to the Global campaign (done with scripts) but something we are considering in future versions. In general though the naval unit is stopped as a result of the game engine design/rules and something that may change down the road. Hope this helps, Hubert
  9. If you have WaW installed and running then you should also have Blitzkrieg installed as WaW will not work without it. The v1.08 patch which includes the Global campaign is for Blitzkrieg only so you just have to download and install the patch and then launch Blitzkrieg to play the campaign. Hope this helps, Hubert
  10. If you downloaded Weapons and Warfare the PDF is already included as part of the package... a link can be found in the Program Group icons for the game.
  11. Sorry yes I missed that one... printed manual comes with Blitzkrieg if you order the hard copy and the WaW manual is simply a PDF as it is only a short set of notes explaining the updates to the Weapons and Warfare expansion.
  12. Boron, unfortunately there will be no v1.08 patch for the Walkon version as there is a new German retail partner, Kalypso. They should be releasing the German v1.08 patch for Blitzkrieg relatively soon for their retail customers.
  13. John, David the original campaign designer is German so he may not see all these posts but I will try and answer as best as I can. I think you discoverd this already but the Northern half of Borneo is a part of the East-Commonwealth much like Hong Kong is and can be DoW'd at any time for control of those territories.
  14. John, This is a function of the game engine and has been changed for Weapons and Warfare... good news is that as mentioned previously it looks like this global campaign has received some pretty good feedback so there is a good chance it will be upgraded in one way or another to the Weapons and Warfare engine (officially) at some point down the road.
  15. Here is an updated EXE that should resolve this issue in the future for you: http://www.furysoftware.com/download/SC2_WaW.zip This is just a Beta v1.01 but will eventually become part of the first patch. All you need to do is decompress the file and simply copy over the EXE into your installation directory. Hope this helps, Hubert
  16. Good catch, I will tweak this so that subs in ice cannot disrupt convoy supply. Hubert
  17. rich12545, The game has seen many AI improvements as this was the primary focus for the latest expansion. For reference here are a few Developer Diary entries based on feedback from Beta testers during development: http://www.battlefront-newsletter.com/Blogfront/tabid/55/EntryID/86/Default.aspx http://www.battlefront-newsletter.com/Blogfront/tabid/55/EntryID/84/Default.aspx Hope this helps, Hubert
  18. At the moment it is just a very simple distance check, i.e. the number of tiles but I might consider a supply rule change to include roads.
  19. Humble Tumble, yes this is a feature in the Global campaign to reflect Oil transfers to Japan prior to foreign policy changes in the US. At the appropriate time in game these areas are transferred to full US control thus ending the convoys to Japan etc.
  20. Tricky question, the smaller scenarios or battles have in most cases a specified length, i.e. D-Day is about 1 month long but the longer and full campaigns go from the start date to well past the date that the hostilities ended, i.e. the 1939 Fall Weiss campaign allows you to play until 1947. Just a tip that these can all be edited via the Editor. Happy conquering Hubert
  21. aesopo is correct, the editor at the moment will only copy over the script files when renaming a campaign... at that point you need to manually copy over the subdirectory contents such as any custom Bitmaps, Interface and Media items etc.
  22. Timskorn, Very glad to hear you like the game and I think you have described what I wanted to achieve with this expansion much better than I ever could... well that and I was curious just how players were finding the expansion release so it is always good to hear this kind of feedback Hubert
