It was an OpenGL issue.
A Google search led me to a fix involving tweaks to the Nvidia Control Panel (sorry, I didn't save the link).
Just in case anyone else experiences this.

Agreed, which is why I do it, have done it and will conitnue to do it for virtually everything BF has released/will release since its inception.
The point was more about comms than about the principle of pre-ordering.

How do I get the save file <2Mb?!
It's an 11.7Mb file, and compressing it only gets it to 9.2Mb.
