Availabilty of air units....?
Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
That's right, b/c I very rarely play with planes. Thanks for the answer. And GF, if you're not going to contribute anything, go back to posting nonsense of the general forum, thanks. -
Hey, I was going to mess around with a few planes against AA vehicles, but I searched through different months and years and regions but there were no air units available to buy. Am I missing something? This is in 1.03.

Marder II (grey) MOD Preview
Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
True, I asked for feedback. Nothing that has been said has irked me... yet. Hehe. Anyway, it's just a mod and no one is going to twist your arm to use it. It's up to you if you like it or not. I won't be doing too many more changes before releasing this though. Thanks to everyone who posted! -
Marder II (grey) MOD Preview
Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Well, being as I am no grog, not even a typeface grog, I don't have a clue what you are talking about! I suppose things like this are inevitable when a non-grog such as myself puts forth work to be viewed and abused by grogs! If there any Paint Shop Pro experts out there who want to "advise" me on how better to do things, please e-mail me, hehe. This mod will look good close up when I'm done, but I don't think it looks great at camera level 2, but maybe I'm being overcritical. I don't know. But I'm still learning this mod business, and slowly. -

I have no objection to changing the color of the inside. I just don't know how, lol! -
Marder II (grey) MOD Preview
Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
The pick and shovel were all A Fox's doing, it was his mod this mod was based upon. The track on the side is from a panther hehe. This is still a WIP and the reason I posted was to see what people thought, and maybe make some changes based on that. -

Hey, thanks for the kind words! I should have mentioned this at the beginning, but Gordon Molek's mud tutorial and gautrek's helpful website were both very helpful, nay, necessary, in getting me started. British Tommy : This should be available for download in not such a long time. Jester : Well, I've never used Paint Shop Pro until a few days ago... like I said, the tutorials of Gordon and gautrek were instrumental. Andrew : You're right about the font. I shall indeed try to find a more suitable one. Thank you for the suggestion! -
New Halftrack MOD Ready Now! Lotsa Pix!
Herr Kruger replied to AndrewTF's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Looks great, Andrew! I've always liked your mods. -
This is my first real attempt at a mod. It's slow going for me, that's for sure. This is a WIP and based on A Fox's Marder II mod. I just wanted to post this to get a little feedback. Let's hope they show up, b/c I'm a novice at Internet stuff. [ August 03, 2003, 03:25 PM: Message edited by: Herr Kruger ]

I just got the game...I need help with mods
Herr Kruger replied to Omi's topic in Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord
Welcome to the game! www.cmmods.com has loads of mods, but most of those are for CMBB (ie. the Eastern Front) but there are some good CMBO ones there as well. Combat Mission HQ (www.combatmission.com) has CMBO mods aplenty, just go there and click on "3rd Party Mods" on the left-side menu. Warfare HQ has some good CMBO mods well (www.warfarehq.com), just go to the Combat Mission part. You MUST check out the CM Outpost (www.cmoutpost.net) has it has a fairly complete mod catalogue for CMBO. Hope this helps. -
Hello, Can anyone tell me what bmp is the bmp for the tracks used by the Marder II? Thanks in advance! J Kruger

The CM Personals ( Or : Modders United? )
Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Thanks for the tip, gautrek. I'll have to try that out. I gave up on the T-37 for now and switched to the Marder II (grey). I felt like I've learned a lot so far, in no small part due to your helpful site. -

Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Thanks! One problem I'm really stuggling with right now is how to make tank hatches and things like that stand out more (sharpening the image) while avoiding the in-game "speckling" that really makes the image not great-looking. Anyway, this will be my last bump of this topic! -

Another bump! Soon I'll have to start e-mailing these guys directly, haha. -

A bump before bed. Is there anyone out there that has a lot of ready-to-go balkankreuzs, red stars, and any other common markings that they would be willing to share with me? I'll gladly give you credit in my notes if I ever actually release a mod. I'm really new to this modding so I have no idea if this request is silly b/c producing such items could be rather easy, lol. But perhaps tactical/division marking or slogans or not? Anybody have any tips? Sincerely, J Kruger [ July 29, 2003, 02:23 AM: Message edited by: Herr Kruger ] -

Thanks gautrek! I think I qualify as a complete newbie at the moment hehe... I will gladly check out your site! Any other benevolent modders out there? J Kruger -
Willing MOD student seeks compassionate, patient MOD tutor! My ideal tutor will be knowledgeable and willing to help me learn Paint Shop Pro 5. I have Gordon's Mud Tutorial d/led but I am having trouble understanding all his instructions. I've e-mailed him about it, and hopefully he can help, but the more knowledge I soak up, the better. I really need help understanding the basics of modding with PSP 5, b/c I really know hardly anything about it. I'd like to have very detailed, step-by-step instructions. I know many people really like the weathered and dirty mods and I'd really like to be able to contribute in that way, but I'm not up to the task at moment. So, if anyone can and wants to help me a bit, that'd be great. P.S. I have read PawBroon's site and have learned a little from it, but I am even less familiar with PhotoShop than with Paint Shop Pro... hehe. [ July 29, 2003, 07:16 PM: Message edited by: Herr Kruger ]

German battalions, companies, and platoons...
Herr Kruger replied to Herr Kruger's topic in Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord
Thanks, guys! Where do you learn this stuff? And I only speak and read a little bit of German. -
If you own a GC then you might have a hard time finding it. I think it's pretty darn rare on the GC. Heck I own a PS2 and I had to order it on Ebay because none of the stores had it. I suggest you do the same. And you'd better hurry because 2k4 isnt coming out for the GC so this is your last chance </font>
