  1. I should have the uniform update posted today. jw
  2. Before Christmas I purchased an Alienware Area 51M Laptop. Pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz, 512 MB Ram, etc. Nice system. Fast as hell.... $3200 I just received a Cyberpower system. AMD XP2600+, 512MB PC3200/DDR400 Ram, KT400 motherboard, 80 GB Maxtor 7200 rpm HDD, etc. This for only $1100. This system is beautiful, kicks ASS, and smokes the laptop system. I am very pleased. jw
  3. Funny you should mention it. I just received a Cyberpower system this week. It rocks!! jw I also have an alienware Area51 laptop. I will continue to buy from Cyberpower.
  4. That link works just fine. Perhaps it looks similar to you because the first 6 mods are similar types of mods as were released before? Look at the 'updated on' at the top of the page. If it says 3/16 you are at the right place THe old page is not even on the server at that address so it would be difficult for you to bring it up. jw
  5. Badger I believe Light Snow Hi Res was in the initial batch that was posted a few weeks ago. They are now in their folders, so you may want to check there. Hmm, I am not finding it in the folders. I'll try to locate one and get it posted. jw [ March 16, 2003, 07:48 PM: Message edited by: jwxspoon ]

  8. The corrected version of Gautrek's Panther VG CMMOS mod is now up on the site. jw
  9. That may be a good point Duke. There are a lot of incremental improvements I plan on making here at CMHQ, but there is a long list!!! I'm working on it.. jw
  10. Here is the Romanian folder: Romanian CMMOS Folder jw
  11. Thanks for the heads up Duke. I just went and checked the link and it popped right up for me. Are you using the one from this page? Hungarian CMMOS Folder When I go to that page and click on the ruleset it immediately downloads for me. jw
  12. The autobahn ruleset is still there. The old update page has an entirely different name. No way can you be bringing it up. Look closely at the first mod to make sure it is not a SturmTiger. jw
  13. I don't know, when I click on the link you copied in your post I got the new page. jw
  14. Yep, you missed a post. The uniform mods will be released in addition to the regular vehicle and terrain mod updates. jw
  15. They are up! http://www.combatmission.com/cmmos/updates/updates.html jw [ March 06, 2003, 09:05 AM: Message edited by: jwxspoon ]
  16. There are a couple of excellent mostly PBEM wargaming clubs around that are good places to get an opponent. One you can join right away is called the Blitz Wargaming Club and is at The Blitz Another excellent club is called the Band of Brothers Wargaming Club. This is located here: BoB Band of Brothers is an invitation-only club, but there are over 300 members and you shouldn't have too much of a hard time finding a sponsor. jw
  17. Hang in there guys! I am working on the new vehicle mod update today, and then will get rolling on a uniform mod update. jw
  18. Check out the latest news!!! CMHQ jw
  19. Hey just a quick answer to your question, There are lots and lots of CMMOS mods completed and ready to go. I am basically the crimp in the hourglass, because each week I must redo the cmmos update page, put the old mods in the correct folders and update all the links, and then pick and add the new mods and links. It takes a fair amount of time to do this correctly, so I have identified about 10 mods per week as a good rate of release. However, MikeT wants these uniform mods out as soon as possible, so I will probably begin doing a special uniform update in addition to the regular cmmos mod update. I suspect I can handle about one uniform update every 2 weeks. jw
  20. I have a 'small' 3 battle static op in testing now at Boots & Tracks, called "Beginning of the End". Deals with Operation Rumiantsev after the battle of Kursk. Should be released soon. jw
  21. I think my favorite double whammy is one game in which my opponent started complaining about my arty. Sure enough, I found some heavy arty falling and really trashing my opponent's forces. The problem was, I wasn't dropping any. He was nuking his own men, and the rounds were so far off target it had not occurred to him yet that it was friendly fire. jw
  22. OK, the updated Marder files are posted on the site. Simply get them again from the same location: CMMOS Update Page jw [ February 25, 2003, 08:12 PM: Message edited by: jwxspoon ]
