Are pillbox users actually complaining that they are too easy to kill and that usually very weak vehicles like the Grayhound have to be limited so their PB's last longer? Please, a 75mm or 88mm can dominate it's LOS and get far more kills on the average than tanks do AND they can't be buttoned up or phazed in the least by any hits that do not kill it. I don't think pillboxes need any more help. Gyrene

Silvio, I don't think it can be done, at least against Panthers, as my quick test showed (I fired at the rear of the Panther from almost point blank range). After the tank buttons up the .50's wont shoot at the tank anymore. Gyrene

Shep, I think the reason that BTS is doing this is because most modellers (The ones likely to respond anyway) are very meticulous about details and are likely to get things right, providing BTS with a reference source for artwork better than most books, so I think computer 3D models are out. I did a test with a lot of M3 halftracks (A lot...like 40 or 50) firing their .50's at a Panther to see if I could get a gun damage hit, but nothing. After the initial volley at the TC (Who got away cleanly even though all the HT's were less than 50m away) the HT's would no longer target the Panther, and so they proceeded to die one by one. That type of Gun Damage hit described at the top of the thread is likely to only happen against vehicles that gan be killed by a .50 Too bad. Gyrene

Busboy, I have my GeForce2 back in my Mac and these are my stats: DP G4 533 with 768mb RAM GeForce2 MX 32 (Stock OEM) MacOS 9.2.2 Nvidia 2.4 drivers Open GL 1.2.4 QuickDraw RAVE 1.7.1 All terrain files are modded, most vehicle mods. Grass textures don't show up as well as with my Radeon, but it looks fine, and now the skies show up. Gyrene

Busboy, do you have the VERY latest 9.2 version? At lot of the nVidia woes have been fixed with that release. Make sure you don't have any of the ATI ones hanging around. Also, you might not want to install any grass textures over 256x256 or any sky mod largerr the the stock, because I've found that those files give Macs trouble due to the resource file set up. I'd try the new Mac OS update and then firing the game up with only the stock graphics (Straight from CD). If it all works fine then add one mod or two at a time (Terrain mods are the biggest culprits for Mac woes). Gyrene
