I watched this movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended. That being said, I also enjoyed TRL as I liked the "spiritual" slant they gave on war movies.

Hi all and welcome to my first post in what... 4 years?? Haven't been to this site in ages so I guess that qualifies me as a.. hmm... lurker absentia? as I wasn't a big poster to begin with anyways.. I see that most of the names I seem to remember seem to be gone as well. Oh well... Anyhoo, I remember some years ago there was this one thread that caught my eye. It started out as a job interview skills thread then became a little more focused on body language and what signals it might send out inadvertently. Somebody posted a very interesting picture where you saw the positioning of the eyes and what it might indicate. Like low and to the left might indicate such and such. I tried finding the post again, with no success. I tried the archives with no luck at all. (is the general forum even archived?) Anyways.. anybody that can help with locating a picture like that or for that matter the post I am talking about?

I will confess that I have only played one campaign with it, but I gotta say that I was just a little bit disappointed with it. I don't know, maybe I expected more or something. But it did kinda feel like SC1 with improved graphics and some other doodads thrown in for good measure. But then again, that's just me.

I'm wondering.. where do you get that information? Is it listed in the manual I never bothered to read? Or is it your own preconceived notions coming into play here? Just curious.

I might be overtired right now.. but I swear I am not getting all the units I have purchased in QB's. For example, I did a quick and dirty QB central/41/aug/axis attack/random settings and allow human purchase for axis player. Among all the other units I purchased I also got a PIIIF (I think) and that flamethrower tank they have. (Hey! I'm tired) Anyhows... The PIII shows up as it is supposed to, but NO flamethrower tank. Usually I would merely assume that I accidently deleted it before hitting continue but this time I made sure it was there before moving on. Like yesterday I put all my money on two Panthers and instead I got an elite Ferdinand. Is there something I am missing here??? Or am I simply delusional?

Arrived in South Carolina... YEEEHAAAW BOOI! Good thing I took out vacation today and tomorrow.

Just wanted to make it official... No CMBB in South Carolina as of saturday.. boho.. Perhaps monday....

Well.. In that case.. I might reconsider my position. I just didn't feel like reaching for the CD every time I wanted to play SC.. Yea.. Lazy.. I know.. I know..

l337 is "elite speak" for well... elite.. See it this way.. Elite became Leet which became L337 Read the 3 as an e and the 7 as a T. All very annoying I know.

And then again.. I somehow really doubt that Hubert would lose that many ACTUAL customers due to warez.. I mean.. I have problems seeing a l337 warez dude forking out the "big" 25 for SC in the first place. Know what I mean?

Although I agree that the CD check is a very irritating issue, don't you think this is taking it a bit far? I confess that I myself still play on 1.02 EXACTLY because of the CD check, but to call for a boycott.. well... It sounds a little dramatic to me, yah know.

Another thing you could do is to check with your credit card company.. If the order went through you can bet your sweet behind that the very first thing they will do is to charge your card. If they charged, something went through. If not.. well... I guess it didn't. Know what I mean? Let's just say they were VERY prompt with mine..
