I'm just guessing.. but I think it's because Egypt is already considered under Allied(That is under british rule) control and thus you will not get a plunder bonus for conquering Egypt. It's kinda like you are just plucking some more land from the Allies without actually conquering a nation. Uuuh.. does that make any sense? At any rate.. I think for the plunder bonus for Egypt you have to take England instead. I'm just guessing anyways.

Yep... once England falls, Gibraltar and Egypt falls into the grubby little axis hands. Actually... I was going to invade Egypt with Italy just as England fell and I failed to notice that Egypt was mine.. So I invaded my own land you could say... And the funny part is that I didn't even notice until I realized there was no 8th Army waiting for me in Egypt... heh. At any rate... the demo ended there so boho like.

Hear hear... at the first mention of finns and how wonderfull they are I usually decide that a hasty retreat is the best option. -

Just be sure you go for the Future Edition.. which is basicly an updated version of the first release.

Well.. erhm.. I have played the demo twice or so, and then felt the need to moslo Clash of Steel: Future Edition. And as far as I can tell the games are similar as far as both being on the strategic scale. The maps being similar, same unit sizes. There are several small, albeit important differences though. As for example how the two games handle navies, production, politics, and air power. All in all, I enjoy the heck out of both games and will definitly buy SC whenever it is released.

As soon as the planets are in alignment.

In that case, just imagine that you with your brilliant leadership foresaw the needs of today and didn't intend to build the battleship in the first place.

right click the unit and choose from the menu.

Very interesting read. Good job. I'll be looking forward to the next installment. -
Actually, I was kinda hoping for something like that myself.

Yep. I was pleasently surprised to see that happen. I'm sure somebody will correct me, but here goes.. Yugoslavia, along with Bulgaria had been a signatory to the Tripartite Pact signed by Italy, Germany and Japan giving Germany a useful ally. A military revolt in Belgrade overthrew the Regency and established a new government with an anti German stance. At the time the Germans were preparing for Operation Marita(The invasion of Greece) so the way to the Greek border was effectively blocked. So they prepared Operation Strafe (Punishment) to coincide with Marita. Strafe being the attack on Yugoslavia btw. Or something along those lines.. Winter

First off....LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY!!! I am warming up the credit card as we speak. I am looking and looking at that picture however, and let me just begin with saying what a lovely picture that is. Then I scroll up again and read "blizzard", I look at the picture again and go..Hmmmmmm, what do you mean blizzard???? Looks like a cozy winternight to me. Before the flamebois warm up their flamethrowers let me just say in my pitiful defense that I grew up on the NORTH side of the polar circle and I know what a blizzard is. And that definitly isn't what I remember a blizzard being like. But then again, I live in the South these days so what do I know? Sorry about the nitpicking.. Just couldn't help myself... I'll be moving along now, Winter
