  1. Looks like the only Valentines I'll be getting this year. Really nice work Mikey.
  2. Thanks Gordon and Matt. They do look great. My poor old 56k is getting a workout tonight.
  3. With a name like "ModSlutSmack small arms Pack" it has to be good, and it is. Get ready to zoom in on your squads and vehicles just to see all the detail he put into these guns. Glad you're back moddin' again Juju.
  4. Thanks tooz. I guess I had to draw the line somewhere. Eight different versions was more than I planned. I'm not sure if my CMBB concrete bunker is the one your talking about, but the BMPs are the same, so you could use it in CMAK anyway. Panzerfest: Thanks. I'm sorry I don't know enough about Mcmmm to help.
  5. Sergei's right. I'm too lazy to switch also, so the plain ones should look fine in all summer terrain. You don't have to swap them out for winter. Even though the game didn't come with winter bunkers, the slots are still there. The winter camo bunker is an alternate version. Hope this clears things up.
  6. Eight (yes 8) new bunkers to fold, spindle AND mutilate. Five wooden and three concrete versions to choose from. For people who prefer to use one set from North Africa to Italy, these plain versions should work. There are desert specific versions... and a darker camo wooden bunker for Italian scenarios. Winter bunkers are included... and an extra winter camo wooden version. Thanks to Juju for testing and adding his usual great advice. [ February 03, 2004, 07:27 PM: Message edited by: Tanks a Lot ]
  7. Thanks for the comments guys. I'll have to get back to work on them. Here's a preview of a wooden one I was working on.
  8. Hi Ales, It's been a little hard to get back into modding after that last building mod. The only thing I've been fiddling around with is some new bunkers. I don't know if they're worth releasing. Maybe I'll start working on trees sometime after that.
  9. I really like the sun reflecting off the edges of the fence. Looks very convincing. Does it look okay at night?. Maybe a very large full moon is out. The Panther looks very good too.
  10. Buildings have to take a certain amount of damage before the damaged versions will show. Try shooting at one with a tank for a while and you should see the switch. Don't delete any of the BMPs.
  11. Lo-res (reducing the physical dimensions of the BMPs) is a different issue, and it does make a difference. Using lo-res grass was always a good way to speed things up, and it usually didn't look much different than hi-res grass. </font>

  13. No problem Monty. That picture would make a nice postcard.
  14. The trees are from my tree mod. They are "from scratch" and not based on the default trees.
  15. I guess that's what I get for believing one of the developers of this game, as well as the guy who created most of the graphics for it.
  16. I believe Kwazydog has said that reducing the colors has no effect on speeding up the game because they get converted back to 16 bit anyway. Reducing the size will help. How are you measuring the framerates?
  17. No problem. Thanks for the compliments. I considered fogging up the outer edges of the window glass, but had to draw the line somewhere.
  18. Wow! A good reason to keep playing CMBB with beautiful mods like that coming out. Can't wait to see the finished version.
  19. Glad you guys like 'em. junk2drive: I definitely wouldn't consider the original large winter buildings, or any of the originals bad. They are certainly more authentic for Russia than mine. My buildings hopefully look acceptable for later war battles, maybe in Germany. If Kwazydog could spend the amount of time on each graphic as we do, he'd probably put us all to shame. Juju has done most of the larger buildings, and they do look excellent. You should download those and try them out. You won't be disappointed. 20. That would be 2130 and 2131 for Italy, 32130 and 32131 for North Africa.
  21. Rocky terrain is just very small rock doodads over regular open ground. You can't see them at higher viewpoints, and you can't make them bigger. You can make them brighter, but they still won't be visible from up high. I think the little white bits are rocky, and all the rest is rough. Looks pretty cool though.
  22. Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks again to Juju for all his help and patience.
  23. Assuming they have eight small building slots in CMAK, then they'll work fine. The demo only has about five small Italian buildings, plus three shacks. The BMPS can be re-numbered if that's the case for the full version.
