  1. I'm 100% with JJR on about this CD copy guy. Fork out the cash! HC & others have worked long and hard to produce this game. It also might be directly linked to their livelhood. PAY THE MAN! --------------- On the CD in the tray to play ... I don't necissarily like it but, I can live with it. That's why I bought a 2nd battery for my laptop when travelling.
  2. Hmmm ... browser issues ... what I meant to say was .. of Winwood's solo works, I am partial to "Roll With It."
  3. Good AI, bad AI. Good scripting tools, bad scripting tools. I'd buy an old "Traffic" LP burned to CD if the label said SC2 on it. Side note: I don't pre-order but I'll buy on day one when announced.
  4. JJR - probably not a concern at your age ... be for me however, it might be.
  5. Looks like the wait is almost over. Good thing, I just got a new credit card with WAY too much limit!
  6. Just one of my very infrequent posts. I'm also still waiting for SC2. And I will contnue to wait and buy it at the first available chance. As for SC1, I've purchased 5 copies, 4 I gave to friends and nephews as gifts. Just because I don't post a lot doesn't make my contribution any less than the folks who post much more often. My contribution is made from my wallet. Side note: I alsolutly love reading this forum's banter ... you guys are the heat!
  7. Bashy, I never said I was upset, well slightly miffed. I guess I should have somehow known that "developer diary" would not have such information and that I should look for a topic named, "I've been permitted to help HC out with questions about the game." Anyway ... as I am not a "power poster" nor an I one who spends a great deal of time sifting through the forums for the gems of information that are mislabled, maybe you could "sticky" that topic or something? In closing, thanks to all who have been and are working diligently on SC2.
  8. Dave, Your points are well taken however, keeping the loyal base "feeling" ignored is not good customer rapport. Like someone mentioned in an earlier post ... "even just tell us your busy and to leave you alone." would be more acceptable than complete silence. HC's long working hours are definately appreciated but, how long does it really take to say, "hey guys, I am crazy busy trying to get this thing ready ... leave me alone." ? I mean, come on, it's been months! [ October 28, 2005, 07:41 PM: Message edited by: Jeff Gilbert ]
  9. Post CPX message ... That was a lot of fun!
  10. Ahhh ... Mizokami 3 ... perhaps my favorite factory scenario of all. Infinately customizable and never dull. One that will surely go down as a TocOps Classic
  11. SC is not dead to me. It is one of two games [along with TacOps] that always stays on my machines. It may go unused for a bit but I always come back to it. I'll keep playing but I do look forward to SC2.
  12. Aargghh ... unfortunatly, I will bemoving from Minnesota to California right about that time frame.
  13. Received the scenario yesterday ... going to have to restart as I used the "intermediate" and +1 and got spanked ... This is very fun ... renewed my interest quite a bit. Thanks !!
  14. Please send to my email also. All this talk about it has made me very curious. Of course, I WILL begin at the "baby girl" settings and work my way up ...
  15. C Trapp ... not funny and offensive. Zapp ... very funny and not offensive.
  16. Hmmm ... as a long time Battlefront member ... and forum lurker, this is a prime example of why JJR got himself banned and why Zap is rushing toward the same fate.
  17. Coyote ... yours are sent too ... sorry for not mentioning that earlier.
  18. Mario, Files sent. Two attachemnts, one .sit [mac] and the other .zip [win]. Pick the one for your system and have fun. feel free to critique the overlays and offer any suggestions for my future ones. Jeff
