GeForce 3 Hits The Shelves!
Gunny Bunny replied to Col Deadmarsh's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
My local computer shop quotes a price of US$ 550. Anyone know how much VRam it has ?? Thx -
An American Jeep knocked out my halftrack and then proceeded to knock out my Wespe ! Believe it or not

My suggestion would be to have an elected censor board of three ( 3 ) people. The time period should be six ( 6 ) months intervals and the person cannot be elected two time periods in a row. The group also needs a charter for posts, as a framework for the board members. My suggestion is as follows: 1) Are, within reason, on the topic of combat mission 2) Are not abusive in nature 3) Do not contain personal and/or libelous attacks on others 4) Are not flagrant commercial exhortations 5) Are not of questionable legal status. These loose guidelines are open to interpretation for each group of board members. Those in favour of an elected censor board say AYE. Those against an elected censor board say NAY. Regards, GB

Hi, You forgot to mention they are cutting the Air Force in half, with mothballing and lower flying hours. I was on the Frigate HMCS Ottawa. Allot of features in such a small ship. I would hate to be on one for a long time. It is just to small for me ! I like Aircraft Carrier battle groups myself Regards, GB

Are you going to use the best mods available in CM2 so I don't have to re-download everything again. Thx, GB -
Rocket Artillery. Modelled Incorrectly?
Gunny Bunny replied to Dr. Brian's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
My question: Are rockets more accurate than regular off-board artillery ?? I notice you get less rockets than shells so which is better. I never used rockets before ! Regards, GB -
Please vote for the rudest: MaximusY2K ( vote ) OR Maximus ( vote ) Regards, GB [This message has been edited by Gunny Bunny (edited 02-21-2001).]

Watering Down Halftracks
Gunny Bunny replied to Gunny Bunny's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
HT's are just going to be jeep on steroids. The purchase points are too high now. I think they should be 10 points higher than Jeeps and not a point more !! That is just one bunny's opinion. Regards, GB -

It looks like BTS is going to make halftracks easier to kill. If so, they better make the purchase points lower. Currently, I find HT's don't last very long in battle. Regards, GB

What's slower than infantry in wet terrain?
Gunny Bunny replied to patboivin's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Truck, in fact they can become bogged down and abondoned. Don't purchase them if it is raining. -
I certainly agree with point ( F ) I would also like to the game store all the turns together so I can watch the whole battle at the end. I would also be good for publicity to have downloads of full battles ! It gives good ideas to us novices ! Regards. GB

Things we won't see in CM2
Gunny Bunny replied to Jasper's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
How about a wider variety of weapons to choose from For example the Canadians have a relatively sparce list of goodies ! -
I noticed at the beginning of my turn my artillery clock had 58 seconds left and at the end of my turn is had 28 seconds left. However, turns are 60 seconds long. Can someone fill me in on what is happening. Thx, GB

Yes, you information does not sound inaccurate. Napster shall attempt to force gaming companies to pay them to charge for downloads. 700 megs, a cable modem at 500K per minute can download that quick as a bunny ! What I would like to see is movie downloads, every movie you could ever want categorized and searchable, maybe $ 2.00 each, good price and a great deal, just like Amazon.com and books !
