  1. Anyone know a good site for informations on the Coldstream guards. Specifically, I'ld like to know if and when the unit switched to cromwells or were they a sherman unit for the whole war.
  2. I recall seeing in a book that the Allies kept several weapons plants open immediately following the war to produce equiptment samples to send home for evaulation. Bovingtons jagdpanther was for example was made post war under british supervision.

  7. Or we could ask why doesn't the game include "Rape the German Civilians" mode for the Russians or the "Roundup the Jews" mode for the Germans? Certain things that happened during the war had nothing to do with the average battalion level firefight, and have no place in the game. To allow players to commit those atrocities, even in simulation, is to trivialize the real suffering those events caused. On the other hand the complete lack of sheep and cows is a total disappointment. I can suspend only so much disbelief.
  8. It's bad enough when you pirate software from a large company, but screwing three guys in garage out of their livelyhood for the sake of saving a buck? I certianly hope your parents have stopped attempting to futher add to the gene-pool.

  11. citizen, where do you work in Renton? I was over at Three Renton Place, the 7 story towers by 405. At first it was like the big ac units on the roof were starting, next the plaster was flyin off the walls and everyone not from the West Coast started praying to their patron deities. This really has to be the non-news event of the year.

  13. I was personaly hoping for Korea, most vehicle work is already done; chaffees, HVSS shermans, and pershings.
  14. I had a pair of Priests kill themselves when I ordered them to fire into some woods where is was getting infantry sound contacts. Unfortunatly for me, it was a heavy fog mission so I had to get them about 4-5m from the spot of woods. I ordered area fire from them, then watch in horror as they both fired and were destroyed by thier own back blasts. I learned never to take priests again on heavy fog missions.
  15. Alright, I tried a search, but couldn't finds this , were is the list of what bmps are what? I've just gotten a copy of Photoshop 6.0 and am ready to get to modding, but I can;t figure out witch bmps are the ones for the Priest.

The weirdest tank AI fubar I've seen recently was a panzer VI and a tiger of mine were both hull down behind a hill top facing of with 5 churchills, after each of my tanks fired around three rounds they both advanced forward onto the hill top and turned to the left exposing their sides. The only thing that broke the laughter of mine opponent was my crying as I signaled my surrender.

  18. 'Zooks and 'schreks arent recoiless rifles, but they do rely on the same principle, as opposed to the PAIT, which I understand was more than capable of tossing users on their asses. BTW isn't the Carl Gustav used by the Special Forces and the Marines a shoulder fired recoilless rifle?
  19. I wasn't a Seabee, but on a long cruise I did do the Seabee Combat course for fun.
  20. Engineers seem to be pretty quick with mine removal, but think of it like this. They're not clearing the entire field, they're using devices like Banglors to clear paths through the mine fields and then tagging the paths for the following infantry. this seems reasonable within the couple minute span of game time it takes to "clear" the fields.
  21. Funny my problems been the opposite, my gun won't stay hidden in v1.1. In a recent scenerio my 6 pounders all decided to come out of the hidden command at max range to kill some halftracks instead of the Pv IVs right behind them.
  22. What are the names of the 5 new scenarios the reame talks about, I've got so many download scenerios that its hard to see the new ones
