Only by elimination. Make note of all the casualties caused by your ground units, whatever is left was from your air support.Originally posted by Dr. Rosenrosen:Is there any way to see casualty stats for planes? One of my planes dropped some bombs right in their main assault force. Ugly!

You're the cream, Ed!

They're Excel files. You'll have to go download an excel reader if you don't already have it installed.

theike,
I have grabbed many of your maps and use them with BCR, but I have a question. Do you base them on real photos? The reason I ask is that some of them have an incredible amount of roadways, which would seem somewhat out of place in the Soviet Union of the 1940's, particularly in rural areas. It may well be realistic, just doesn't mesh with most of what I have read.
Keep up the good work.

And, is the angle laden or unladen....

38? You're just a kid. But a damned talented one.

Well, you might want to make it a static op, ie, the map won't move, but make it huuuge so that either side has plenty of room to retreat from the centrally located setup zones as the fortunes of war favor/disfavor them.

Awesome, without CMMOS, it just ain't right.

The modding community was at least as active. I think there were more actual people doing mods, then, as well. Also, there were far fewer bmp's to be modded, so whole sets of vehicles, etc, were a far less daunting prospect than all the models we have now.

Not quite. The Attackers points are modified as follows:Originally posted by flamingknives:Goodale, you fool, must I go around correcting you all the time?
The points you get in a QB depends on what mission you are playing.
Meeting engagement = both players get the same (the point value chosen)
Probe = Defender gets the points value chosen, attacker gets 25% extra points
Attack = as above, but attacker gets 50% extra
Assault = as above, but attacker gets 75% extra
To balance a written scenario, first step is to count how many points are allocated to each side in the unit editor.
Incidently, should anyone wish to try a 3000 point attack scenario, crafted by my good self, make yourself known.
Probe is 1.4
Attack is 1.5
Assault is 1.72

Hope you actually get to play some CMBB, now, Gordon. Lord knows, you've earned it.
Now, if we can just get these talented modders to only put stuff out in CMMOS format, we won't have to come to your house and, uh, re-recruit you.

Pre-planned is the only way I use Soviet rockets. The scatter is so bad, you want to make sure your troops are well separated from the targetted area. The effect can vary widely, from nothing to devastation, but I think, on average, they do good damage.
If there is a large distance to cover, I often delay the barrage a few turns, so that I can close in fairly soon after it lifts, for maximum benefit.

Amen.Originally posted by Mikser:Please, for the love of God, someone CMMOS'ize all of these wonderful infantry mods!

A heartfelt thank you for everything you do for the benefit of so many that you will never know.
We'll never truly know if Pvt Ryan ever did, but you've certainly earned it.

This abomination is known as "leet-speak" or l33t-5p34l< as it is commonly typed. It is used with disturbing regularity by people, typically teenagers, who are too stupid/lazy to use capitalization, punctuation, and grammar. Very common in FPS games.Originally posted by redwolf:I am unable to read this gizo stuff. Can anybody help me? What do I make out of these "3"s and stuff?
A sad statement for the future of these morons.

Just commit an evening to it. I'm on 56k, as well, and I grabbed 4.01 and all the new mods last night. It may take you all evening, but you can play CM while you're doing it!
Why are tanks turning so slow?

BadgerDog,
Thanks for a great description from "Someone who actually knows what they're talking about".
Lots of debate on the seemingly slow pivoting of vehicles, and I think your post deserves a bump, to keep this from slipping away yet.
