Its entirely possible that your particular situation involved the turret's traverse being damaged, so there was no longer any reliable way to aim the gun. Basically, its just that "gun damage" doesn't have to mean that the gun itself was hit. I see no need to change anything.
  2. The AI certainly finds a way to bunch up many times, but my experience was exactly the opposite of yours.

I rarely play a scenario twice (there are too many to enjoy!) but after easily winning this as the Germans (2 KT lost, all Soviet's ko'ed), I had a much tougher time as the Soviets. The AI managed to spread itself out nicely and hit me from several directions. It ended up a draw.

Just one of the things, that if you played the same scenario multiple times vs the AI, you would probably see several different types of attack. You just have to hope you get lucky and catch the AI when it has a good idea the first time through.

1.01 should address the range at which AA assets start engaging aircraft. So I suspect it will even out a bit more, with more AC being driven off/damaged/maybe even destroyed.
  5. CMBB aircraft often make several passes if not driven off by AA. They can theoretically destroy a number of things. If your opponent bunches up armor, a large bomb can destroy/immobilize multiple AFV's.

Strafing doesn't usually cause a whole lot of damage, but strafing aircraft typically make a bunch of runs, in my experience.

As for AA fire, it isn't quite as tough as it should be due to range of spotting issues and a number of other things, but I believe that the 1.01 patch will correct that. Dedicated AA vehicles can sometimes be effective.

  6. When you are issuing orders, while plotting movement, hover the cursor over any walls between buildings to see if it turns red, meaning you can't move from one the next while inside.

The thing is, some are rowhouses that do not connect to one another on the interior, while some are buildings that do allow access without going outside.

  7. A very good question.

Maybe they are saying that once a target is declared, then, and only then, can the fuzing, etc be put into effect, and that takes a few minutes.

Or, possibly rockets can't be loaded and left ready 'cuz it runs down the battery to electrically fire them , or somesuch.

Would love to hear "why" on this from the voice of authority.

  8. Gorgeous Tanks.

I'm looking forward to down the line when folks like you, Fernando, Gordon, Marco, AndrewTF, et al stop letting real life and things like playing the new world's best game get in the way of making my CMBB as grand as my CMBO.

(Make no mistake though, stock CMBB is magnificent to begin with, which means higher highs when the Artists have had their say)
