  1. ...want to let you know that both my CMSF-mods for fire and muzzle flash are fully compatible with CMBN. You can DL them from my homepage (link in my sig).
  2. I could be wrong, but vehicel damage is still not visually modelled, is it? Thanks also for the first look on the panel. They still use two colour icons. *sight*
  3. I understand that a fully random generated map will not work in CMBN. How about randomly generated contour lines for the map/scenario generator? With a simple click on this plus some manual adjustments if necessary you can give an existing map a very different character
  4. When I'm looking at all the screenshots, I notice that the command panel is always cut of. Now I wonder if the ugly green/yellow icons will still be used, or full color icons. Seriously, I got better things to do as create icons.
  5. Normandy will have a working QB system. That's much more important (for me) then any map tool.
  6. I agree. In 2016, when the next full title will be released, most players run 128bit systems. 32 bit software won't be supported anymore by then...
  7. I think it will be late second quarter, more likely third quarter 2011. Not because of any aniversary, but BFC usually releases their stuff this time of the year.
  8. That's a frequently used knockout argument, but I disagree. A typical combat mission battle is concentrated action and has nothing to do with the course of action in reality. Just as example lets take reinforcements. If not an extreme delay is set, they arrive ussually within few minutes after the expected arrival time. In real life it's not necessarily considered as delay if they arrive within the right hour.

  10. I have corrected the RPG-16. DL from my site Does the AK74u has wood furniture in CMA only, or is this true for CMSF, too?
  11. I have a question about the new firing sounds. The unpacked brz files does not contain any new .wav files. Are sounds changed by the cmsf software?
  12. The underbarrel grenade laucher is called GP30. I know what a RPG-16 is, but I don't know what he means with the under caliber grenade

  14. A small update to the CM:A small arms ('green yellow') icons is available on my site now, it adds the missing AK-74/GP 30!

  16. It is done. I haven't uploaded it to the repository yet, but you can download it from my own website, just follow the link to 'Pimp you CM' below in my sig. The mod contains icons for all sides of the base game, Marines, British and NATO modul. v130a contains also new silouhettes for all air and artillery units, so you may consider to DL the mod even if you do not own the NATO modul.
