  1. I see and agree Edward. I misread the post thinking they were referring to a single round from the M1 or BAR and the one round being more powerful then the other when they are one in the same.
  2. Maybe they were speaking of the M1 carbine which shoots a entirely different round the .30 Cal. Big different as everyone knows. This has to be the answer as the 7.62 can only be beefed up by so much and even then no noticeable difference would be seen in power to speak of. My guess anyway.
  3. Funny you would bring this subject up just now because I have been thinking the same thing now for weeks. Something different would be really nice. Sounds like we may get our wish if Captain Wacky comes through. Here's hoping.
  4. Yes very interesting looking and sounding game. Plus thanks for mentioning it as I got to upgrade my player. Cool. While I can't imagine it being any where close to CM as far as detail it does look interesting.
  5. With all the great response from everybody, well at least Doug nothing or no body mentioned that it shot the 30-06 cal. cartridge. Some may not know what a 7.62 cartridge is.
  6. Now that would be an interesting game. I would sure like to beat up on those Russian guys.
  7. Thanks for the answer Pascal. So I'll go and download them in that case. That darn Tanks just keeps improving things doesn't he. Very nice.
  8. OK, did my duty. I voted for CM - but of course.
  9. Now I assume this is the same mod as the one in your previous post about Tanks trees? Right? If so I already got them if not let us know so I can get these, but I suppose they must be the same? But I hate assuming anything anymore so I just ask and it's a good way to bump this post anyway.
  10. You would truely be the man if you could Deanco. Here's hoping.
  11. Oh! this is nice! Another outstanding mod from Tanks a Lot. You know nothing effects the overall appearances of the game as much as the terrain and this mod addition really helps in that regard. I can see my troops easier now thanks to this nice mod. Thanks to Tank a Lot and Pascal for getting him to do it. I like it! I love modders! I really do. Well, not like I love my wife or something but you all know what I mean. You do don't you? OK, let me just say I like them a lot. That's better. Again, thanks Tanks.
  12. OK, OK. Leave the bridge alone. After thinking about it it is just a game and I don't suppose it would be much fun if your opponent didn't have a fair chance. What was I thinking? Still think it would have been cool though to be able to see your opponents face when it blew. Course he would probably want to beat you up.
  13. Just my personal opinion but I say blowing a bridge was done in war and still is. If it stops the enemy from getting at you this is makes sense. If it slows the enemy down it makes sense and if it makes it more difficult for the enemy then it makes sense. Now if you are simply concerned with how your opponent will take it then ask him. I again personally think it would be very smart - even if I was on the recieving end. I might not like it but I would certainly appreciate the tactic. Besides you're not supposed to consider your enemies feeling or concern. Well at least not in real life.
  14. Well I personally would hate to give up the three levels of trees because there are times I prefer using one or the other but I agree that if it was a choose between being able to have the on/off option and only the one level of trees I would vote for that. I'm not saying it's a major deal but like ciks says in the above post why not if it makes the game more enjoyable?
  15. An excellent idea. I don't know why I didn't think of suggesting that myself. I spend half my time ( well maybe not half ) switching trees on and off too. This would certainly be a very easy thing to program and not require very much space for a button or something to activate. Also I would prefer something you only had to click on with the mouse rather than a hot key. Good idea Ciks.
  16. Yeah, Tanks a Lot I'd like to try them. So these would be the scattered trees so how about woods and tall bases? I'd take them as well if they look like your examples above where you lightened them up in the last two pictures you showed. I am assuming that these two pictures was the top one being scattered trees and the bottom one was woods? If both of those are scattered trees I'll still try them and just make do with the woods and tall bases I have. And thank you ever so much.
  17. Tanks a Lot. I can't speak for anybody but me but that looks to be exactly what I'm looking for. It is perfect and I would sure like to have it if you wouldn't mind. I should have no problem seeing my troops in there and that is my main problem.
  18. I agree. I've just recently looked all over myself and couldn't find anything light enough to use so am having to just make due. I realize that tree bases need to be darker then the scattered tree base but they are too dark. What would it look like if say tree bases were light brown and scattered bases be light green Surely that would eliminate the problem. Both could then be light since different colors. Just a thought.
  19. That is simply beauiful. I really really like it. Do let us know when and where it'll be posted as I would certainly use it. Now if somebody could just make tree bases lighter in color everything would be grand. They seem so dark I lose my troops in them even with bases turned on. Excellent job Murpes!
  20. An excellent idea. I really hope CMBB corrects the problem of being able to sight through solid objects. I know it's been mentioned but can't remember what the answer was. Let's hope.
  21. Sounds like a worthwhile addition and makes a lot of sense. I really appreciate the idea of being able to track a unit just like the mind would do. As far as to trying to fool the enemy into believing that your force is greater then what it really is, is also realistic. The other thing you could do would be to trick the other side into believing where the attack was going to be directed. Fool them to commit their reserves or at least reenforce the wrong area. Cool idea CMplayer. So you're not just another pretty face. Just playing against the AI might not be that big of deal but when playing against a human it would be really interesting and add to the overall game. I like it.
  22. thanks again for helping Tanks a Lot. I will save it again but swear I had. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.
  23. I thought I had the location marked in my favorites but when I went looking seems it disappeared. Could someone let me know. I wonder how many times this question as been asked? Anyway, anybody?
  24. Who's laughing? I'm not laughing. That's funny Michael. I suppose a cow in a building isn't all that unusual. I knew Canada was cold but had no idea you guys brought your cow's in. Funny. That was a good laugh. Yes, that may be the first time they bumped a post from the general into this forum. Wow! you are lucky.
  25. Just beauiful work Andrew. Truely beauiful. Thanks for your efforts. I will enjoy using it against those evil German's.
