Summer/Fall wheat mod done
lcm1947 replied to Tanks a Lot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Very nice job Tanks a Lot. I can hardly wait to get it in the game. I never have been happy with what's out there not that the modders didn;t try it just never seemed the right color to me and I really like the rows you can see in this one. Again, you be the ground guy!! -
I Think It's Time to Give Up on 22 June

You're sad your own self Pvt. Ryan. It really is a little sad isn't it? Glad I have a life other then playing this stupid game every single day for the past 1 1/2 years. Sometimes even waking up at like 4:00 Am and sneacking out of bed to go play it. Yes it's sad. -
I just had a spectacular victory!
lcm1947 replied to Denizen's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Yes it is a great feeling taking out that many tanks without losing even one of yours, well I suppose it's a great feeling. I personally never felt it but hey glad you did. Sounds like I subscribe to zukkov tactic's. That's the real manly way anyway. -
Has anyone tried 'move only' rules?
lcm1947 replied to Louie the Toad's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
WOW! I can't imagine not telling my troops when and where to fire. I would go nuts just sitting there not being in complete and total command. Having said that I might just try it tonight but I bet I don't get to turn 4 without taking over. -

lcm1947 replied to Shep's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I'm thinking that it was already released but they just aren't telling us. I bet we'll be the last to know. That's cause we keep pestering them. -
Another strange battle.....
lcm1947 replied to superpershingfan's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Are you talking bullets or shells ? If you mean bullets than I don't doubt it as I would think the armor would be more then enough to stop them. Now if you meant shells then I'd say what caliber? Could be smaller stuff and that's very possible I'd think. If large shells you got lucky or the Pershing did anyway. -

Aren't you going to show the winners models? That would be cool. -
Worked for me and what a beauty. The detail is outstanding.

New plowed wheat field mod...
lcm1947 replied to Tanks a Lot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Just my opinion Tanks A Lot but yes the last picture looks much more real to me. The first actually did kind of look like a rug. So now we'll finally have wheat fields that actually look like wheat. What an idea. Should look oh so much better in the game. You the ground guy Tanks A Lot. And again thank you for another mod I'll sure be using. -
New mod: winter SdKfz 7 gun tractor
lcm1947 replied to mike8g's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Well that's about 1000 times better then the present looking one! Great job and thanks for the mod guys. You even have the iron cross on it. Very nice addition. -
Another mod: Axis winter interior
lcm1947 replied to mike8g's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Well aren't you the clever one. What a good idea you had. It certainly does look a lot more real and appealing. I thank you for your efforts and sharing with us. -
France 1940 - Allied armor and the real German edge
lcm1947 replied to JasonC's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Yeah very interesting reading JasonC. Thanks. Let me be the first to say that I don't know nothing about nothing but after reading your post I wonder if Germany's determination and the Allied lack of it didn't also have a factor in it. I mean they knew what they had to do and had it all planned out while the Allied were I assume only reacting to the situation and quite possibly not that keen about it to begin. Probably like hoping it would just go away. Anyway, good reading. I enjoyed it. -
Hey thanks Michael for the pictures. Poor guy.

New plowed wheat field mod...
lcm1947 replied to Tanks a Lot's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Hey Tanks A Lot looking good. It's extremely more realistic looking then anything else available so I'd say YES please continue and release it when ready. For some reason I seem to be using all of your outstanding mods. I wonder why? Again, I thank you for all your hard work and thinking of us by making this excellent game even more fun and enjoyable to play. -
Well, hopefully he'll see this post when he returns. I also appreciate his hours and outstanding work for this game. As said already, it wouldn't be the same without him. My many sincere thanks to you Gordon for all the super mods and mod reworks. I am glad however that I don't have to give him a dime for the many many many times I used or enjoyed his work but wish I could. One talented dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that somebody wouldn't know what Ted means. I mean after just 1 1/2 short years I finally found it out. Course I believe you Pvt. Ryan was the kind soul that pointed it out to me. Boy those newbee's are dumb.
