I was in the U.S. Army Infantry and although we were taught about plunging fire, I can't recall one instance where we actually trained to use it. The most common use of the tripod mounted M60 or Ma Deuce was in the direct fire role. We did use the traverse and elevation mechanism to preset direct fire limits but never to set a predetermined plunging fire beaten zone. However references do occur in FM 7-8 The Infantry Rifle Platoon and Squad.

Why does anyone consider the GeForce 3 a ripoff? I have a GeForce3 Ti500 and it's done wonders for my gaming. I run CMBO with everything and I mean Everything modded and almost all of them are hi-res. I've run some pretty big battles without a hitch or any sign of stuttering. For my money my Ti500 is the best $199 US I've spent.

Sounds to me like the hulldown command isn't a shortcut for lazy or inexperienced players, but instead a way to let the player concentrate on being a "commander" and let the TC take care of the nuts and bolts of the process. Just like in "real life". Just my .02 $

Yup,Andrews mods are some of the best around,and his jeep mod IS the best of it's kind hands down.
