Lars, I re-edited my post again He wasn't in 21.Infanterie-Division. He was in a cavalry division - the 24. Panzer-Division (The Leaping Horsemen) in one of the regiments who escaped the Stalingrad encirclement. All I can tell you about the introduction of the Ferdinands was that he first references them on 23rd November 1943 at the Nikopol Bridgehead Hope that helps and apologies for my previous errors..the words dumb and ass spring to mind Regards MG </font>

Right up till they abandoned them. Did you ever figure out the unit? I thought he was originally in a Cavalry division. {edited because I missed your edit} [ February 18, 2003, 05:30 PM: Message edited by: Lars ]

Life's just like a box of Peng Challenges
Lars replied to Mace's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
He's good at that. Probably not what his parents were hoping for, but it's something to talk about at the family reunion at least. -
I noticed this too but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Anybody smart enough to apply the changes at exactly the right time to beat you is probably going to win anyway.

Ok, ordinarily I would say that you are a toadying, apple polishing, lickspittle of a sycophant, but in this case, you happen to be correct. If my arty hadn't been targeted by a Russian who, it seems, had just discovered tequila for the first time, you would be getting it even worse. Please send the gold posthaste, the VISA bill will be here any day, probably hand delivered by a irate banker. Now, how does the head count stand in the "Quest for the Anointed Armored Car"? SSN Hint Of The Day: Block the entrances of elevators, buses and subways. Now sod off. -

Hola, amigos! Just got back from Mexico at midnight. Weather was great and had a fantastic trip. But found out my Uncle had died while I was gone so first thing this morning I had a funeral to go to. Should have stayed at the beach.... Ready for play to resume. If we have a game going, send a turn while I go back and read up on how much further this place has sunk into the mire. Oh and by the way, Seanachai, get any postcards? -
To Battlefront: "Human Wave" - Racist!
Lars replied to Mikael Red's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
"Human Wave" was used long before the Russians, so it isn't racist in that regard. "Human Wave" isn't stupid if it works. And finally, "Goodbye Pirate!!!" -
Just in case any of you didn't get the e-mail I sent out, I'm off to the sunny beaches of Mexico till the 17th. But judging by some of the replies, which were mostly repetitions on the theme of "U SUK", everybody received it. Come on 5 o'clock... SSN Hint Of The Day: Touch the paintings at the museum. Now sod off.

One Click to Combat - Anyone interested?
Lars replied to KMan's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
E-mail Kman and explain that MrSpkr buggered it up. Then ask for the source code again. -
Fuerte, I tried several times and never could get your program to work. All I want is a very simple utility that works with this game. Something like the old OneClick.

Is the Dog earless? Or a wee little spaniel? You decide. And can we sink the boat? THE RULES then, short and sweet: S) Go away. O) Go even further away. D) {***sigh***} If you’re still reading this, you’re still too close. But if you insist, PAY ATTENTION!, or go away. O) This is the Peng Challenge. Challenge someone SPECIFIC, just make sure it’s not Peng. Try a newbie SSN such as yourself, not a Knigget or an Old One. If you don’t know what a SSN, Knigget, or Old One is, go away. F) The key word being CHALLENGE, sound off like you have inherited a pair from someone other than your pet hamster. If you can’t manage this, go away. F) Do not sound off about your pair. Try to act like you have a modicum of wit, style and panache OR Half of a Brain. If you won’t keep this thought in your Half of a Brain, we will boot it to the other Half, and you will go away. !) If you have any questions at all, post absolutely NOTHING! We will get back to you at our earliest inconvenience. And go away (are you starting to see a trend here?).

Ah, there you are, your err..ah...Highness, yeah, that's it. Since the replacement Justicar seems to have buggered off I'll present a report directly to you. While the "Insane Knigget Posse" forms up, I have retained the Pet Rock of the Pool, Gaylord Focker, as a bounty hunter and set him on the Outlaw Justicar's trail. As Panzerleader is traveling in his company, it should be a matter of just following the soiled undergarments. I expect a report from him any day now.... Yep, any day now.... Real soon... zzz..... SSN Hint Of The Day: Treat underlings as such. Now sod off.

Nice to see you're finally learning something in nursery school. But you had to edit even that? Now, turn off Sesame Street, put down your woobie blanky, waddle over in your little footsy sleepers, and hammer out my turn. SSN Hint Of The Day: Reserve compliments for people who can do you some good. Now sod off.

"Badger-easing " Hmm, things must be tougher than I thought in Sweden...

The major difference is the full game is a lot better than the demo. The graphics are about the same though, top notch. I haven't even downloaded a mod yet  Sorry modders.
