  1. A dog cocking it's leg on a person is not normally a sign of affection.</font>
  2. To my best knowledge they're still routes. Having the key convoy route become visible based on Intel tech might be an interesting idea. You would have to code in a way to make it change position every turn and then subs would only have an effect if they were close enough to that path. Maybe double for being right on it. An actually convoy unit might be fun but I think it would lead to a lot of gamey strategies like hugging the edge of the map or saving up convoys and rushing them all through at once.
  3. Edwin, I think you could just wrap all that up in one Tech. Techs are growing like weeds at this point.
  4. Don't forget, Intel Tech should have a spillover in the amount of damage done by Axis subs to the MPP of the Allies to reflect being in the right place at the right time. Say a 10% increase or decrease per point depending who's ahead in the race.
  5. It was already proposed in other threads. Although we came up with Tac Air to get the whole gamut of better coordination between air/ground units and better planes/weapons.
  6. $5.00 for the first to toss Seanachai in. $10.oo to the first to tie four cinderblocks to Seanachai, then toss him in. </font>
  7. Perhaps having the only medic ride on the front is not the wisest decision...
  8. Which is why I took him to Squire and made him a Knight. So there'd always be someone just for you. Now go answer your e-mail.
  9. Yes, perfect. I think your message came in as I was typing my last entry. But, any way, as far as air-to-ground, this is exactly what I mean. </font>
  10. Roight. After the first decent weekend we've had in six friggin months I can now declare boating season open. It has been raining for the last month and a half, the lake has come up about two feet, and I spent the weekend getting the dock up one foot above that. So, it is hereby time for the Minnesota Miscreants to load up the coolers full of beer and go out and take a slash in some rich bastiche's high priced view of the water. Private E-mail to follow. {btw, MrSpkr, the water temp is about 55F...}
  11. Why not just call it Tac Air tech? Could reflect the whole gamut. Dive bombers, armored planes, rockets and napalm, and of course, better ground control and coordination with attacking units.
  12. Not really. People with no teeth fit in there.
  13. Just curious, why is it over there instead of posted here? A little advertising or what? And their site loads a little slow.
  14. Your mother's name was Rose? Fine name. But tell me, does that make you the prick she gave birth to? Get it....Rose...Prick? You don't get great lines like that everyday, now do you? Mace </font>
  15. Everybody give a big Cesspool Welcome to our newest member, "fossilized dung"! Sheesh, it's only a matter of time till he ends up here, ain't it lads?
  16. Nah, I'd get more RAM first. I'm using a PIII 350mhz. Put a gig of RAM behind it and it does just fine. Just how quick do you really need to process a turn anyway? Mine will usually do it in well under a minute. Really large scenarios take longer.
  17. Why don't you plead stupidity? Everybody would buy that one. Oh, wait a minute, never beat Papa Kahn, you just did, didn't you?
  18. Just as long as the stenographers are wrong. Oh so very, very, very wrong.
  19. $35 bucks a stick for PC133 in 256MB. I bought a bunch when Best Buy put it on sale for $20. Buy lots, it's cheap and does make a difference.
  20. I don't own mukluks. They're vastly overrated. Even the Innuit will tell you it's hell to get the sled dog poop off of them.
  21. Ah, no wonder. "Storm Over the Land: A Novel About War" Should have been a clue in there for you. Try "The Unknown Soldier" by Väinö Linna for another good novel.
