  1. It's all Shaw's fault. The dang scenario had TRPs in it and we all know what that does to him.
  2. Them syreens did this to him. They loved him up and turned him into a horny toad.
  3. No, no, in this case, the credit lies entirely with the designer at Ker Dessel. And now, after having said something nice about my former Liege, I have to go take another shower. {Two showers already and it's not even 9:00 AM. It's going to be a long day...}
  4. All turns out. If you didn't get one, well, you didn't get one, did you?
  5. Hey Keith, your site doesn't seem to be working today. Fix or do somefink.
  6. dalem, Start stove. Put bucket of water on. Pour over head. Please repeat tomorrow morning.
  7. I was thinking of the way it was handled in SC1, so you might be right. But I think Hubert is going to have to put in some kind of trigger to prevent Russia from declaring war on day 1, otherwise this is going to be a very short game.
  8. That might work. I'm not sure how the MPP's for minors are being handled yet though. Are they going to show up as a separate account?
  9. Actually, I think the Russian Player will just throw everything available and steamroll Finland, knocking it out of the game. How you going to make them stop? But now you've also activated the Russian Player early and he really has time to start investing in tech and building up his forces. And if he has any brains he'll invade Germany as soon as possible. I don't know, I think if you want to refight the Winter War, go get the old SPI game. It's going to be a bit hard to fit into SC2.
  10. So if I sneak one unit into one of those countries I tie the whole works down? I don't think that will work too well.
  11. I don't know how you would do it without completely destroying Fog of War for both players. As the German and Russian players both know what's coming next (Barbarossa) they will ignore a pointless drain on resources and prepare for it. So why bother with a battle that in the greater scheme of things was pretty much a draw?
  12. Your example also didn't have to do with the surrender of the city. Also, please note the reference to WWI. No troops, no seige.
  13. Don't have a site but have a book for you. Elite of the Third Reich: The Recipients of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross 1939-45 A google search with Knights Cross turns up a lot of sites but not a complete list. Only for various branches of service.
  14. Unlike Oz land, where hot water just drips off the roof, having your water system outdoors here would just lead to one large ice cube and a lot of very cold showers. Although, since I have a blonde and a brunette lined up for Saturday, dalem is going to be needing a cold shower...
  15. Hee hee, it's been 6 hours and Boo still hasn't realized he spelled it right.
  16. Why not just have a "last spotted" icon like CMBO? Might clutter up the map a bit though.
  17. It also had a history of holding out through long sieges. Which rather pissed Otto von Bismarck off.
  18. Well, they stole other people's. The Demodernization of the German Army in World War 2
  19. Umm, they were pretty sure it was in England. The Allies had deception plans that required German recon flights to pick them up, so I'm pretty sure they let them through.
  20. Well, not being able to read Finnish, I just had to take what I could get.
  21. First v42below and now you, Boo? Entering the Dan Quayle spelling bee are we?
