US 57mm AT gun crews fighting as infantrymen
mensch replied to CMplayer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
GPIG, ugly weapon a million working pieces and heavy... on this point I agree to the MG units not allowed to run. the tripod is almost as heavy. btw I hated my training on that thing. I would give my left arm not to be a GPIG gunner. -

Keep in mind that each side can't have more than 256 individual units.

yes.. for example I was fooling around seeing if I can choke my G4 here. 2.5+km by 2+km each side having about 13000pts as it worked out. I fired it up moving every piece, it took the computer to think its moves in 45 seconds and it took 13 minutes to render the movie!!... A record I think in PBEM file size for me 5.2MB large!! insane, there is no way I would play such a game I was just interested in what my mac could do.

quote:
Originally posted by Germanboy: My parents live in Worms.

eeewww! in worms?? must be that Arrakis world you come from ey? but honestly cool!! how much of the Altstadt is there Stadt Mauer? chances are its all build up but what about the Jewish quarter near the Hafen is the Synagogue still there? (assuming they rebuilt it) if so I would guess it would be one of the oldest in Germany (even if it was restored heck most of germany was restored after getting hammered in the war).
quote:
Originally posted by Mace: where's that weed of a scenario you're working on for Sir Ihavemanylettersinmyname and myself! You're slower than the chick behind the counter at McDonalds (but probably better looking)....and you better give fries with that. Mace

may I suggest you hold your pants! Scenarios take time, now if you want a rush job then I suggest you ask say some Cockroach to make one for you. I on the other hand I am a Designer and not some McPukes fast food fry guy who brings your half baked crispy fries to you. sit down and shut up or you'll get nothing but Jeeps and Kubelwagens to battle around with.

LOL hahahahahHAHAHahahahaAHAHAHa *foosh foosh go the rockets of joy* Senachaimon: DRAW Menschy: DRAW "Wir Müssen hier Raus!!" -TSS

Har Har Har. hmm looks like this one is lost to the annals of Absent mindednessess es... Just kidding I'm figuring out how to attach this virus to the PBEM before I send it to Mr. Loudmouth. I used to have a kitty cat but after that crazy glue accident I have a permenant fuzzy mess on my Living Room table, which after 6 days it stopped a meowing up a storm, 3 days after that it started to smell a whole lot worse then my Tennis shoes and just 2 days later I have a whole lot of new flies as house pets. Hardest part is training the new flies to use the Kitty litter properly.

Gyrene has done a huge mod package! Hi and Lo Res Railroad Tracks, in Lighter and Darker (normal) versions! Also a new Byte Battle™ called 'Bure' by Germanboy. It is his first published historical battle, based on the description of the opening stage of the battle for Bure in 'Go to it', the history of 6th Airborne. Extensively playtested, and all that. Experience 6th Para tussling with Panzerlehr. Based on the reviews at the Scenario Depot, he has also made some slight revisions to 'Into the East'. If you have played it already, there is no need to revisit it, since they are small changes. If you have not played it, now is a good time to do that. Menschy

Aeim here! But Aeim gone the minute a fecking cockroach comes in and stayz more then 4 posts. I hope your bloody happy Joe, and yes you are loosing in our battle... why? you sux! who taught you to go in the woods without your Davie Crochet in your pants!! beginers! Mace is taking his time like me in our wee battle! We both blame mud, the wife and Hemiroids on the slowness. Berli the smelly guy who's hair migrated from his top to grow out of his nose to represent a beard is a wee gamey bastage! flame throwed my lads that would have made Kernal Manders happy. Seanachai could only dream of ever beating me, it appears he will pull another "DRAW" with me soon unless he does somefink silly like tries to rush the flag like he normaly does in our games. OFGDBASTARD is just that.. gamey nob managed to pop my tanks like a Nympho in a Slaughter House.. I'm actually doing something I rarely do and that is pull my forces OUT!! so he has no glory in forcing my lads to sing Beer Hall songs while eating Bratwurst and shave their womens underarms!! uh any other games? no? forgot you? good!! ps... I'm only here as long as the riff raff stay out! menschy [ 11-12-2001: Message edited by: mensch ]

quote:
Originally posted by Lars: 8.0A, who'd a thought it would be buggy.

Well I was on the general assumption that "A" stands for "Alpha" version you know the version before the official Beta or official version comes out.. I never touch Alpha versions since they are buggy, more so with Microshaft products, worse yets they pawn them off as "Functions" and not bugs.. I spent, 2 freeking hours on my Wifes computer cuz some darn internet program thing installed some silly Microcrap thing.. and wow her modem does not work! I got it fixed now after uninstalling it and using a older version. [ 11-09-2001: Message edited by: mensch ]
-

That's your typical Marketing Team.. Damn no brains department heck even if BTS made this availiable for our pals with BeOS or LINUX never mind MAC they would still just post the damn Windoze requirements. If anything it's up to folks like us to write emails to the no brainers in the department and wake them up.
