What surprises me is how long it took for anyone to report this. Shows how often QBs are played now.

How about it running in 1.07. I meet the minimum specs. It ran for 9 months with no problem. Now something changes and I have problems.

Yeah, thats all well and good, but something changed in 1.08. No problems in 1.07, that I noticed. Played 1.06 more, but still no problems. Would like to hear from someone official about this. I have back all the way down to 52.16, randomly trying various versions and no luck.

The really odd thing is I didn't have this issue prior to 1.08.

I have an AMD 1.9GHz CPU with 128M GeForce 4 MX VPU. Have 2Gb of ram. In 1.06 I had no graphics issues. Since updating to 1.08, They 8 view key doesn't work with shadows on, but if I turn shadows off, all infantry disappear, including their icons. I have seen each of these issues mentioned before, but never opposing each other. Any suggestions?

I wonder if there any stats on hit rates in the 73 war. I also remember reading that the AT3s were pretty dense and maybe percentages just paid off.

Stupid question...if the AT3 is such a piece of crap IRL, how did it get used so effectively against Isreal in '73?

I run it on my thinkpad with 32Mb, XP, and 512Mb. It actually runs decently on it until everyone starts smoking. Is that close enough?

I have not seen many people say CM1 has as much or more fidelity than CMSF. IIRC, the arguement was how needed that fidelity is or there is a mismatch in the fidelity level of different aspects of the game.

Unless I missed a post somewhere, I haven't seen Dorosh post anything I would call "bannable". I have seen some of BFC's testers post more confrontational stuff than Dorosh, and I don't even think that was bannable.

Did someone set off the orb of confusion here?

Saw an announcement at wargamer.com that cdv was going to be publishing ToW in NA. Don't know if that's related to ToW2 or what.
