Having trained with the German Bundeswehr serveral times and earning all three levels of the Schutzenschnur with all weapons I have to say that the weapons sounds are very much on the money for authenticity.

3 machines here with v3 3000's standard setup (no overclock, 3dfx drivers) and no probs. You checked your directx ver? Not overclocked on anything?

Be happy guys. I'm still waiting and I ordred back in April or early May . I do find the new demo refreshing though, got me out of the shakes until the real deal arrives!

Dito. Posted a huge info piece on the 5500 in a thread a week or so ago. I think that the next 3DFX driver will fix alot of this.

All phone usage over here is on a timed rate by distance and time of call. The only way around this is ADSL and Cable-modem access but its still new and only available in a very few areas, and even then you still have a monthly fee of around $50.00.
