Panzer_Meyer replied to ParaBellum's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Damn good AAR. I wonder where the second KV is? Good job on killing those T-34 especially with that close assualt. Can't wait to see how you deal with those KVs. -

Good Job both of you, this is getting better and better. Now with Kv-1's in the picture, Parabellum is going to have a tough time in the village and a tougher time overall to deal with them. His tanks can barely kill thos t-34s how is he going to deal with the Kvs. The only thing would be to kill it's protecting infantry and then close assault it with his troops. If MG keeps the KVs in the close confines of the village. Very good AAR indeed, keep it comming! -
Just rush the bunker, I mean it will run out of ammo eventually. Just send another wave in.

This is a good AAR so far. It's been a long time since an AAR like has been done. Right now PB, you look like you have the upper hand with infantry in the village and your mortars and HMG in possition covering hill 230. Can't wait to see how this plays out. If maybe MG has some KVs or something. Would make it very interesting. Good luck both! p.s what do you win. What does the winner get? -

Better Russian MOD required
Panzer_Meyer replied to HOFMAN's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
You calling Dorosh an idiot and that he doesn't know anything about WWII. Maybe you should look at some of his many websites and references. He has more knowledge on WWII than most people here. You abviosly need to be taught some manners and anger control. No need to call people names here, simply answer his questions, show some evidence and pictures for the modders to go by. If you come in here demanding things to be done and call people names, I doubt that will get you a mod or any help at all. It might even get you banned at the end. So watch it. -

I use to work for CompUSA before joining the Air Force. I am glad I am out of there, I hated working for Compusa. Like Gyrene said, they promote customer service, but damn, I've met some of the dumbest people on earth. I couldn't deal with 99% of the time. I was close to punching some customers, I walked away on some and even told some to never come back (in a more rude kind of way). I guess retail ins't for me. I wonder how all this is going to end. If CompUSA is going to be sued by BFC? Or if this will be settled in a different sort of way. You are right about the prices though, CompUSa prices are usually a bit higher than enywhere alse.

Southern USSR topomap site
Panzer_Meyer replied to benpark's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Wow, that translation tool works great. I was looking for Cherson and ofcourse it's all in Russia so I click where it should be. It comes up with a city named "Xepcoh". So I use the cyrillic keyboard and bam, it translates it into Herson. Well that could only be Cherson. YAY! -

Panzer_Meyer replied to ACTOR's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Looks like we got a lot of No Cal people here. They need to make a North California sneak peak. Or more like a Bay area sneak peak. Even people from scramento can make that trips. It's only 2-3 hours max from Sacremento to SF. So please, any North Cali beta testers out there?! -

Yea I know, believe me I want to go. But **** 6 hours! If I left at 6 in the morning I would get there at 12 noon, in perfect driving conditions. If I stayed for 3-4 hours till 4pm. I would get home at 10pm. Not really worht it. To much of a long drive, but thank you for the offer. -

Bah, that some 6 hours away from my house, AHH!!! I so want to go. But 6 hours, 450miles, that is way to far for me. Just to make sure, this is Corona, close to Los Angeles?! -
SC, GA, NC, FL residents - here is your preview!
Panzer_Meyer replied to jwxspoon's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
DAMN it, do any of the beta testers live in California, or the Bay Area to be more specific. I want to see this sneak peak too, but I can't fly all the way to Chicage or South Carolina. So any Beta testers here in California? -
Wow, I like the fact that you can't if tank is dead or not. That is trully realistic, in Panzer Aces it talks about tank commanders making sure a tank is dead by firing 2-4 shots into a tank. Only sure way of knowing is if the tank catches fire or smoke comes out or the crew bails out.
