  1. I just posted a new scenario on the Scenario depot, called "One of the Aces". It is a battle I read about in the book "Panzer Aces". In this battle elements of the 4th Panzer Division attack a town of Baturin, which over looks the river crossing over the river Ssjem. This town needs to be captured so that the Germans can cross this river and continue their advance. Hermann Bix, a commander of a Pz-IIIG takes part in this battle. This one of the many battles he takes part in, and slowly makes his name as one of the panzer aces through out the war. Spoiler****** * * * * * * * * * * * * * Thanks to Hermann bix and his initiative, he slips into the town unoticed by the Russians. He emerges in the town out of now where. He find trucks filled with supplies and ammo in the town. He shoots up some of the carts and they go up in flames, the Russians start to panic. Hermann Bix takes advantage of the situation and presses on, running over AT guns, MGs. Thanks to him, the rest of the attacking elements are able to take the town with light losses.
  2. I too am a hardcore eastern front fan/nit whatever you wanna call it. And CMBB wil never leave my HD and I will never stop playing, till CMX2 or whatever comes out. So don't wory, I play your OP no matter what.
  3. Hey, I am on North Carolina, Goldsboro to be exact. I would be very interested to go down there for a visit and a sneak peak. Just need to know an specific date and all. Hopefully I'll be able to make it down there.
  4. Mirovka is the name of that scenario. Check it out at the scenario depot, and leave a review, thank you. Elements of the 132nd Infantry division attack Russian possitions outside Mirovka. Meant to be played as Axis vs AI. Stick to Scenario Default set up. Semi-historical August 1st 1941 Clear Weather Dawn Gottlob Bidermann was a gun crew man in the German Wehrmacht serving with the 132nd Infantry division. He marched into Russia with his company and his fellow crew man of a 37mm PAK. He hasn't seen much action in east until now, when they reach Kargarlyk. Beyond Kargarlyk lies the small town of Mirovka and outside and in it are prepared Russian possitions. This is the first significant engagment he and his guncrew experience. The town of Mirovka is just another small town in the vastness that is Russia. It lies in the path of the German advance, and it must be taken for the German troops to keep moving east. It is in the middle of no where, endless horizon all around it, and almost no trees around to hide under from the burning sun. All that is visible is the Russian steppe, a few gentle slopes here and there. Some wheat farms, orchards, tomato farms and small peasent shacks. Into this, his company marches on, proudly and with courage. Opposite them, an unkown foe, who is waiting in ambush. Authors comments: I got the idea for this scenario from the book "Deadly Combat, by Gottlob Bidermann". Author: Filip "Rommel22" Svoboda
  5. Thats why I posted it, it perfectly fits doroshs' life style and this thread. Go you, Dorosh, i am not one to judge ya. kthnxbai

  8. Joo r teh 133t h4xot photochoper! manseks plz! It looks good, I downloaded the mod, and can't wait to start seeing my beautiful su-76 getting owned by Pz-II's.
  9. To me, it is the map. The ammount of units is not an issue on my system. However, the map being 9km2 is a problem. That is what hangs my system or causes it to lag when I move around the map. In A1 there are not that many units. I have played battles with multiple battalions even regiments and smaller maps 2-3km2 maps and it wasn't bad at all. And it did not take THAT long to compute. With these huge maps, it's a different story. To me, HUGE means a big freagin map.
  10. Your OPs are awesome, no doubt about it. the thing is, the maps are way to big for lot of peopl. It takes several minutes sometimes to calculate the AI moves and when you plot your own moves it takes forever as the map lags when you move around. If the maps were a bit smaller, it would be much better and easier to play the battles. though once I get my system to an AMD 2500XP 333mhz FSB computer, it won't matter anymore, haha.
  11. Looks nice man! But what's up with the wheels, they seem to be different color. The middle wheels are muddy looking, but the rear and front wheel apear to be clean.
  12. Lot has been said so far, but I feel like saying my own on this issue. Reinald, how are you going to tell someone how to runt heir forum and website. If you do not like it, you can leave, it's that simple. You don't have to download or visit the site, which is SOOO offensive according to you. Which I find ammusing, there are many other historical sites out there, NOT connected with the game with many Nazi symbols and banners. Why don't you go harp on them instead, and not on a gaming community. Why not harp on the site of IL-2 Sturmovik, which has been created by a Russian company, and they have swastikas and Iron Crosses all over the game (on the planes and tanks). Why not complain about the dozens of other games and gaming websites out there with nazi symbols and banners all over them. And if you would READ the disclaimers you would maybe come across some lines saying something to the affect of "this site has nothing to do with nazism nor does it promote it." That's what disclaimers are for. It is just a game, and some people maybe like it historic, not censored like the German version. Where you cannot even have the name Waffen-SS in. Which in my opinion is sad... So, stop complaing and getting on peoples cases about what their site might look like, or what mods they make. In the end, no one is forcing you to look at it, or to download it, or to post here. It's your choice to be here, around these "nazis" according to you.
  13. Some good **** there guys. I am going to try my hand at some screenies I got.
  14. Where do you get all this material if you don't mind me asking? Internet, books library perhaps? lot of time must go into research it seems, but it looks like it's worth it. Your ops are amazing. I need to upgrade my computer though, those maps are huge. An AMD 2500XP should do fine, haha.
  15. haha, the funny is present with this one. I mean, do you use actual topogrphical maps of the area? Or do you mostly use your imagination?
  16. WOW, you make some amazing maps! That is just like an ariel photo or something. What is your secret?
  17. Allo! I have to say that your operation and the whole concept of this campaign is awesome. I am still playing the 1st one, bit by bit and it's a blast. I can't wait to finnish it and play the next operation. Keep up the good work.
  18. Looks very nice Andrew. I'll be sure to get it and use it. The flag is a bit much though, to bright. If the color was a bit subdued I'd use the flag. But I am guessing it's already an option anyway, so it's all good.
  19. lol! I like the IS-2 1.03. With new tweked features and fixes, it's amazing.
  20. Wallybob - he is getting a good ass kicking thanks to my brave and glorious Red Army troops. It's only 1942 and he is already packed and ran off. No I am there to just add insult to injury! Robohn - he is putting out the fires I am setting with his troops. I set a new fire, and he send more troops into it to put it out. Something about preserving nature or some ****. oh yea RAWR!
