I bought an iBook SE 466 last month (yeah I figured the new ones would be out at MacWorld NY ) I am very pleased with how it runs/displays CM the 8mb ATI Rage works well even with lots of mods I am not sure if 1024x768 available on the new iBooks will look as good on the 12 inch screen. 800x600 is fine [ 05-02-2001: Message edited by: jeffsmith ]

Also run my Mac and CM at 1024x768 CM defaults to what your Mac is set at when you launch CM Easy way to Change resolutions in CM to see the differences between each

Tiger I can readily understand you getting tired of playing CMBO But if you decide that making mods has gotten old as well... i think you need to be ready to enter the witness protection program Your mods are as addicting as CMBO and if you were to remove the supply it might not be pretty ------------------ "The Trouble with Normal is it only gets Worse"

Going Under the Knife and CM Withdrawl
jeffsmith replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
The only thing I am a veteran of is Surgery I've had 28 of them so my thoughts and prayers are with you. (I walk around on more of American Industry than I do original parts... Metal detectors at airports are particularly fun) Now to your dilemma My advice is try to find somebody to move that computer. Nothing will help your recovery more than forgetting you are trying to recover. I personally know of nothing better at making me forget MY daily troubles than having a Shreck team reduce all my armour to flaming hulks in only two turns So Fellow CM'ers are there any of you who live close enough to help this guy move his computer Good Luck ------------------ "The Trouble with Normal is it only gets Worse" -
Everyone knows that once the CM cd goes into the cd tray you may as well superglue it shut ------------------ "The Trouble with Normal is it only gets Worse" [This message has been edited by jeffsmith (edited 03-10-2001).]

OK..give us the Hardware Specs and Operating Sytem you are using Please include graphics card info We can help but without this info you will have to call "Psychic CM Friends" ------------------ "The Trouble with Normal is it only gets Worse"

the E-mailing may be the problem use a disk to transfer the files or if the Mac has no floppy use DropStuff before you e-mail them (its in the internet folder under utilities I think) it will let you compress a file into a zip or even a self extracting file for your PC ------------------ "The Trouble with Normal is it only gets Worse" [This message has been edited by jeffsmith (edited 03-06-2001).] [This message has been edited by jeffsmith (edited 03-06-2001).] [This message has been edited by jeffsmith (edited 03-06-2001).]
