IIRC in the FAQ on the Combat Mission site it says that BTS is considering makingthe GI's prone to yelling "Tiger!" at the first sign of any armor. I think thats already in to an extent. The fact that they are being shot at by an MG 42 which is more effective, then say some rifles, already has some effect on the troops just because they are being pinned or killed. A couple of places. I've to 2 25 meg accounts from Easyspace.com. Another 22 from 2 Tripod accounts and 50 megs from 50megs.com. I brought my Easyspace accounts back from the dead. I used them a couple of years ago. 50megs.com was reccomended by you. I have 2 Tripod accounts because I changed my URL from CAR_12.tripod.com to cm4mac.tripod.com. That is a pretty good game. There is definetly no othe game like is on the PSX and I'm going to buy it eventually. I found that occasionally you could hold the grenade for longer and then throw it but this was so inconsistent I stopped using them completly. Also the fact that you use a Bazooka as an anti-personnel weapon disturbed me. But at least the lighting effects in the tunnel were cool. Also the Sniping Rifle is supposed to me a Springfield .309. Not to sure about the .309 part but I know its a Springfield something. Now what they really need to ddo is a re-make of this game for the PS2 and eliminate all these problems. I brought this up back in August when I discovered Combat Mission. I realize that the whole squad will not represented for a long time but I think that they should make it so that the squads aren't always in the triangle pattern. If they moved around freely it would be much more realistic. I would rather see better smoke and better fire implmented before this of course. I think that the fire and smoke issues will really hurt CM in reviews. If any of you have ever played Carmageddon 2 this game has huge outdoor areas and amazing graphics. That reminds me of a little something I did for fun in LD. I drove the Tiger straight down the road through the town and up to the top of the hill. Come turn 11 I had taken out all of his Hellcats, a platoon of infantry and three mortars. And he was dropping some deadly HE fire on the back of the town. Unfortunatly the demo messed up and I couldn't take the screenshot. I cursed for a week or two. ------------------ Visit my Combat Mission for Mac page! CC2 has got to be my favorite game thus far. Playing against my friend has been my best gaming experience. It was simply amazing seeing an MG 42 open up on his Rifle teams as they crossed the road. Then repostioning the team so it couldn't be assaulted. One time we spent almost an hour playing cat and mouse. I remember I took out almost 30 troops in about a minute. He was trying to assault one of my postitions with almost his whole force I was scouting with a recon team and a schutzen team. He quickly overran my position and thinking that he had a clear march into the town. He failed to notice my Sturmgrenadier team supported by an MG42 and a Schweres MG team. He was crossing a hedgerow and I as I saw this coming I decided to drop some mortars on him. The first mortar took out the lead man and simultaniously my infantry opened up. With in a minute his forces were dead except for his mortars and I hadn't lost any troops. That delay offset the whole balance and the XXX corps had to wait for them to capture this.
